The rooms had recently been renovated, which was a bonus, however you could tell that the amenities in the room, like the shower and a/c unit were the original and fairly old, there was quite a bit of water and humidity damage in the room which was evident on the walls, floors, and bathroom door. When we entered our room the floor by the sink and bathroom were wet from condensation, which I am assuming is where the damage to walls and doors is coming from. Overall the room was clean, the staff were respectful and kind. The rooms just need some better upkeep, (buildings and grounds wise, not cleanliness) rather than just new furniture.

The only thing is that the pillows were too flat which is not very comfortable. Had to fold pillows in half. Other than that the visit was good.

I liked that it was quiet. I didnt like the druggie that was parked out front when i got up to leave at 5am. He accused me of backing up into his vehicle and then demanded money, mind you he had no front bumper.

The first room we went to the beds were un made. Then the one we ended up in, the sheets were not changed from last customer that slept there. There was hair and stain in sheets. Toilet paper had less than 1/4 left to use on roll. The heater in room kept turning off . Had to constantly turn back on. Will never stay at motel 6 again.

Reserved a king size bed. Upon arrival I got 2 double beds. Went to ask service attendant, she said they had none . I explained I had reserved one and it was after being consistent that she said “ oh we do have one “. Second room had no soap shampoo etc. TV was broken.

We had reserved with two full beds and ended up having to stay in a King room. Air conditioner wasn’t working and we had to move. The only room was available was the king and my husband asked if we could just cancel. They said they couldn’t give us our money back. My daughter ended up driving back home 2 hours home due to not having a bed to sleep in! We checked in at almost midnight because my family was in Concan and we were on the Frio all day. The following morning we wanted to shower but only had 1 towel and a smaller one. The phones weren’t working so we could not communicate with them.

It was our first time visiting Chalk Bluff and booked a room at the Motel 6 even tho I had seen bad reviews. In all honesty I was not paying an extra 170.00 to stay down the street. Figured what the heck it's one night. All the bad reviews were dead wrong lol. I gotta say we get to the room and it's super clean, smelled great. The ac was not on but I get it. I turned the ac on and about an hr later it was super cold the way I like it. We do plan on staying there again when we visit Chalk Bluff again. Great night's sleep.

Outside lights did not work, dark shady area. Interior main light also did not work. No extractor fan in the bathroom. Only had 2 towels and no refill soaps. Worst part cockroaches behind the bed headboard. Place needs to get completly remodel.

Worst ever

Start off the room had not been cleaned properly. The restroom towels were torn to a point of unusable. The room key pad wasn’t working (door wouldn’t lock)and when I called front desk about the situation they said it was the first time they were hearing about this and couldn’t do anything about it. I was going to go get food and they told me if I could leave somebody inside the room because the door wouldn’t lock. The air was turned off and basically didn’t get fresh until check out time. IT WAS HORRIBLE! I will never come back to a motel 6 EVER.

My bed didn't seem very clean. There were hairs that weren't mine on the sheets and it overall just had an unclean feeling to it. It wasn't terrible, but I definitely wasn't comfortable. The staff was friendly though and found me a ground floor room because I had a bunch of heavy equipment to bring in.

The bathroom was filthy, black spots on the floor, a brown ring in toilet brown spots in the bath tub and the shower curtain was moldy There were roaches roaming all over the room and the ac was not working properly. Even running the system at high and max ac the temperature in the room never went below 82 degrees The room super expensive. The same price of a holiday inn or a courtyard The worst hotel and room I ever have the misfortune to pay for. Do not stay in this hotel under any circumstance It is a lie to call this garbage a hotel

The a/c unit did not cool off the room and was given two box fans to fix the problem. Was told no other rooms were available but hotel was not fully booked. Will not be stay at this Hotel 6 again.

We've stayed at this motel 6 before n been very happy,but this last saturday we had a reservation n we arrived 10 minutes before checkin..to where my husband was told the rooms werent ready get n it would be about 30 n minutes we'd have to wait (ok) no happy, im disabled n oxygen so we always get a room downstairs as i cant really climb stairs well, so when we finally saw the cleaning lady she actually started cleaning another room before ours, we werent happy n quite upset by this time we had been waiting 45 minutes, n were possibly gonna be late for the reason we were in town....finally husband went back in office n just asked for any room n it ended up being upstairs, n then our door wouldnt open, we ended up having to get office to open our door then n then agian @12am when we got from the dance we were invited i to town for...all in all i hope we dont have this problem agian if we ever book at this hotel.. just do better motel6
