Perfect 10 out of 10.

The staff are very professional and informative. Best value for money even after 2.5 hr drive to get there. Staff at ski hire shop at resort we're amazing. Had boys 8 and10 first time skiing and they told us where to go and where not to go for best value for money. The only dissappointing part of our stay was the ski lift passes are very expensive. We cannot wait to come back next time.

Spring Skiing w/ My Kids

Loved it. The staff was great. It is the least expensive hotel within walking distance to the slopes. And if you don't want to walk, the shuttle comes around every 10 minutes. Loved the place & loved the staff. Will definitely stay there again.

Just Perfect

Posted Apr 3, 2014
Pros: The location, staff, accommodations, on site restaurant and on site ski shop.
Cons: We had perfect service and everything we needed was provided in our two bedroom, two bathroom unit. Can't think of anything that needed improvement.
Location: Skiing, ice skating, shopping, dining and convenient transportation to Vail and other hotels.
Our recent stay at the Charter was delightful as usual. The staff, accommodations and amenities were excellent. There was plenty of wood for the fireplace, complementary transportation all over Beaver Creek Village and always someone available to help with anything we needed. There are many places to stay in Beaver Creek but I can't imagine we would stay anywhere else, it really feels like home.

Lovely hotel close to the ski slopes.

Pros: see above
Cons: Dining room needs improvement, better service and better trained waiters. Food was good, but not much choice. On the good side, it was not expensive
Location: Wonderful location, perfect for all winter sports, especially skiing and ice skating.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms immaculately cared for. Close to the ski slopes. In house shop and ski rental facility is very good. Swimming pools and hot tubs are good. Very good for families.

Pros: the accommodating staff, convenient equipment rentals on-site , shuttles to the village, walking distance to the village, views, amenities
Cons: softer beds
Location: The Village, Hotel and Charter Sports has everything needed to enjoy your visit.
We enjoyed the nearby village restaurants, Beaver Breek ski school, ice skating, snow shoeing, tubing at Haymaker Hill, gondola rides, McCoy Park snow shoeing, shopping and chocolate chip cookies!

We had a blast!!!

Posted Mar 25, 2014
Pros: Although large, it was a quiet hotel away from the crowds. Pretty easy ski in and out!
Cons: Needs some updating…..carpet, etc.
Location: We went to the Village, which is very close.
The Charter is great…..might need some up-dating. The only problem we had was when we were catching a shuttle at 5a for the EGE airport, the buildings were locked and we left our keys in the condo. If we had known the buildings were locked after a certain time until 6a, it would have been better. We were outside between 2 buildings in the very cold and my daughter had to run down the stairs and around to the front of the bldg. to let the shuttle know we were ready and just couldn't get to the front of the building. She let me in and we made it….maybe we missed something in the literature, but we had no idea the buildings were locked overnight. We did had a great experience and everyone was very friendly.

Nice hotel, convenient to slopes

Posted Mar 22, 2014
Our two bedroom condo (three beds, plus pull out couch) was comfortable and perfect for our family of 5. The full kitchen was convenient for breakfast and snacks. We preordered groceries that were in our kitchen when we arrived. The hotel is a short walk, shorter shuttle ride to slopes. Charter Sports in the hotel was very convenient for rentals. Hotel amenities - outdoor hot tubs and fire pit, indoor pool were a hit with the kids. Spa ambiance was nice, therapists we had were average. I would definitely recommend and return to The Charter.

Condos nicely updated - Property Layout OK

Posted Mar 21, 2014
Pros: The room was very quiet nicely furnished for a family of 4.
Cons: Nearest Elevator in building was slow, then closed, and took several days to correct while we were there.
Location: The Skiway was about a 100 yards away, and they had a rack for your skis at the end of each day. Though there are many downward stairs on the outside.
Our 2-2 condo was superbly updated, Granite counters, and nice furnishings, each one is probably different though, but in general the rooms seemed to be in good shape. The Master had a king bed, but was a bit small compared to the other room that had 2 queen beds in it, and the other Bathroom was larger than the Master's as well. Almost seems like the Master Bedroom was moved to the smaller of the two rooms, so two beds could fit in the original master bedroom area, as the current Master Bedroom had a bathroom door off the main entry. We booked the room and airfare as a vacation through Expedia, and the ground transportation throughout the hotel after speaking with them and asking about the property for skiing in advance of arrival. Our flight arrived late in evening, and departed late in the afternoon on the day of departure after a 5 day stay. We we're initially asked to check out at 11:00 am, but our shuttle didn't leave until 2:30 for the airport, we asked the front desk for late checkout, but had to escalate to manager, then GM of hotel to get approval. It was a bit humiliating, since we arrived after midnight on our first night, paid for ski passes for our final day. This was not handled well enough to be a 1st class resort, when it was clear our schedule driven by flights times was later in day and a package deal, and the cost of this hotel is very expensive per night. The GM did finally allow us to stay in the room, but my vacation state of mind was disrupted

Best value in the Village

Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Convenience and price
Cons: some of the rooms could be updated
Location: short walk or shuttle ride to the village. True ski in/ski out
I chose the Charter mainly because it was one of the least expensive options in Beaver Creek Village and I was pleasantly surprised that it exceeded my expectations. Although it is a short walk (or shuttle ride) to the heart of the Village, I found it very conveniently located. First, you can rent your equipment right inside the building at Charter Sports (reserve online for a discount). Second, you can store your skis right outside the door (free), and Third (and most importantly) the sidewalk outside the building has a short ski run that leads right to a small lift (Elkhorn) where you can access all of the runs - especially on my favorite part of the mountain, Bachelor Gulch. At the end of the day (even after Apres ski when the lifts are closed) you can ski back to The Charter by way of a small run right from the Village. It was a true ski in/ski out. We had just a hotel room (two doubles) but it was so inexpensive and it came with a refrigerator. It also had nice amenities (bathrobes, Aveda products). Also, our view was very pretty overlooking the back side of the mountain. Plus the staff was excellent. Admittedly, it is not as new or as plush as the rooms at some of the other places (Park Hyatt etc) but the price was about 50-75% less for a hotel style room than most other options. I found it very comfortable, affordable, and would return again.

First trip to BC was great. From arrival to departure the staff was great and went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. Would certainly stay here again and recommend.
