Breakfast wasnt special but, they had fruit so that was nice. Our tv didn’t work that’s about it. Good place for the price

They were resurfacing the parking lot, which left no more than 12 parking places. 2 of them handicapped. When I arrived 3 were occupied by a truck, a boat and the third by the dog belonging to said boat and truck. The owner of the truck who seemed to be a frequent guest had self appointed the dog space, as an additional handicapped stall. And refused to move said dog. I won't stay here again. P.S. resurfacing the parking lot didn't happen, as it was pouring rain when I left.

Corin, We are very sorry that your stay with us was not up to your expectations. We would like to let you know that resurfacing was supposed to begin on thursday until the rain started. We didn't want the work to be done in a rush so we rescheduled to start Sunday morning at check out time. Once this was decided, all parking spots were opened back up to the public. As far as the issues you had with a guest, we are very sorry and would be happy to have handled them if we had known.

Unless you have no other options, do not stay here. It’s in bad need of renovation. Carpets in hallways and room are threadbare and frayed; bathroom was designed for a child, with everything low and small. Toilet and shower were in one small space with a door, but the sink was out in the room, so good luck if you’re trying to sleep while someone is drying their hair! The bread on the breakfast bar had mold on it. That’s all you need to know to make up your mind about this place.

the carpet in the halls needs a refresh. otherwise it was a nice little place to stay. nothing fancy, but a good place to rest your head. the pool was nice and warm, thank you for that.

The location was convenient. The property is dated but some updates have been made. The room was very clean and located on the first floor. The parking was decent considering how busy they were. The staff was helpful and knowlegeble concerning policy. I was considering extending a night but they were booked. My only disappointment was the filthy hallway carpets and some aroma. I really want to applaud housekeeping they were great.

We are sorry about the hallway carpet, we hope to have this replaced in the near future. As far as the smell, we want to apologize for that too; it can be hard to track down what rooms certain smells are coming from, we will try our best to work harder at this and get it corrected. My first impression was food strewn down a hallway and I didn't think we would stay there. The person cleaning the rooms was very nice and when another guest brought it to her attention she said she would take care of it and she did. The rooms have been somewhat updated and I like that the worn carpet like in the hallways has been removed and faux wood tile has been put down making the room feel cleaner. Breakfast was adequate-usual waffle machine worked great. The room was just fine for us overnight.

The room was adequate. It was clean. The shower was pretty good. The bed was cheap and uncomfortable. The hallways desperately need new carpeting. The swimming pool was shut down. There was a lot of riffraff milling around outside. They had an average hotel breakfast.

Hot tub not for use
Stayed here because of price, breakfast and hot tub. Go down to pool and spa and nite on door that hot tub is not to be used. Water in it. Asked at front desk and got eye rolls for answer. Would have stayed somewhere else. Walls thin, heard sniring next door all night and highway noise

Was very satisfied with stay. Arrived to find out that hot tub was out of order. Was very disappointed as this was one of the reasons staying, staff was very accommodating and gave us an upgrade. Staff was helpful with some papers I needed printed for clinicals. If I ever stay in Yankton

we had the most amazing stay at Yankton So Dakota EconoLodge ... My husband fished at Gavins Pt Dam and I walked and rode my bike from Motel to Park everyday we were there... Alot of good places to eat in the area.. I felt very safe and the staff were helpful and friendly.. the morning breakfast was small but had great choices.. I got plenty to eat and great Coffee!

Plumber Needed
The bathroom sink stopper was broken. The shower drain was plugged up so the water didn’t drain out so you were ankle/knee deep in water while showering - dangerous keeping your balance. I reported the problem to the front desk, but it wasn’t fixed. Breakfasts were good.

No workout room. Rooms were dated but very clean. Lobby was small and unattractive. Security was absent- outside doors unlocked all times. No elevator.
Bed and pillows were comfortable. Towels were soft.
