It was the only hotel in the area. It was not welcoming. Chairs were always on the tables. Staff was not very friendly.

Room was freezing when we arrived. Took a while to get warm. Breakfast was excellent but the staff talked and interacted overly while we were trying to eat.

Safe. Beautiful lobby. Rooms were in good condition except for a minor issue with the shower head. AC was amazing. Direct TV a plus. Beds were clean and rooms were bug and smoke free. It is definitely the nicest hotel in the area.

As other comments....the place was clean. The staff was very nice. Pool and area were very nice. The shower water was extremely soft. When I go back to visit Goliad I will definitely stay at this Best Western.

The check in clerk let us choose if we wanted 2nd or 3rd floor, I appreciated the option to choose. There were sevsral breakfast choices, I wish there was a gluten-free option for toast, etc. since medically I can't eat regular. Waffles smelled incredible though. I would stay again.

We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. But the interaction with the staff was nice and friendly. We slept in and went down for breakfast only to realize we missed it. The manager still offered us breakfast which I thought was very kind and thoughtful.

It was the best hotel in town. We enjoyed our time. Sandy serving breakfast was very nice even if the hotel was low in some breakfast supplies sandy did her best take everyone feel taken care of.

This is an older property but overall maintenance of common area is ok. Room was quiet but hotel was almost empty. Beds and pillows are very good, but stain on the comforter was a little unnerving. Bathroom could use a little TLC and a box of Kleenex. None of the 3 pieces of equipment worked in the fitness room, no towels, no wipes. the breakfast provided was good, but tables were dirty and we never saw anyone working in the breakfast area. Finally, there are large signs at the entrance about their cleaning procedures but not one of the hand sanitizer station had any in it. Unfortunately this was the best option I could find in Goliad. Next time I’ll drive on to Gonzales or Victoria

Schroeder Hall
I was in town for a concert at Schroeder Hall and chose this hotel due to the reviews. It was the most expensive hotel in town but worth every penny! The Owner will be affected by Schroeder Hall closing but I hope he makes it as he was friendly and courteous.

Folks, you just don't find a property this nice and ran this well in small town Texas. We were very happy with the condition of the hotel, the friendly staff, the convenient location, just nothing but good things to say about this Best Western Hotel. Thanks again!

Hello, Anyone home???
This is a fairly new hotel but there was no cold water in the room at all. Tried to get with someone and there was nobody around to talk to about it. I called the phone, tried to find someone in the hotel and at the front desk. Nobody was anywhere. I had been out working in the heat and could not shower. The water coming out of the shower and sink were 100% scolding hot. Could barely keep mu hands in it for a few seconds.

Best hotel in Goliad.
The only problem I had was I paid for a suite with a couch which was extra and was put into a suite with only two beds and no couch. The rest of the stay was good. The breakfast left a little to be desired but there was one which was good. They were accommodating for extra towels and even helped me get back into the room after I forgot my phone charger. The pool was very clean and we enjoyed it very much.
