Many of Draguignan’s most popular attractions are near to Vidauban, making it a great place to base yourself while you are in town. Two destinations that should be on every visitor’s itinerary is the fabulous Thoronet Abbey and the iconic Lac de Carces. Also, be sure to check out Chateau d'Entrecasteaux and the Chateau de Grimaud.
Vidauban has plenty of museums and theaters within easy reach that allow visitors to really get a feel for the area. Spend part of the day admiring the exhibits at the La Maison des Papillons in Saint-Tropez and the Musee de l'Annonciade.
When it’s time escape the city, visit the nearby green spaces. Stretch your legs and visit a local beach, for example Pampelonne Beach in Saint-Tropez, the Les Salins Beach and Grimaud Beach in Grimaud.
To really get a feel for the area, visit some of the local sights such as Roman Theater in Frejus, the Place des Lices in Saint-Tropez and Frejus Amphitheatre. These are much-loved by locals and tourists alike. For those who enjoy history, Draguignan’s past comes vividly back to life at the Saint Tropez Citadel in Saint-Tropez.
To work on your swing hit the fairways such as the Gassin Golf Country Club in Gassin, the Golf de Beauvallon in Grimaud and the Valescure Golf Club in Saint-Raphael.
