Great location and comfortable apartment
The apartment was located next to the tram and train line which makes it so easy to get around Vienna. The apartment was very comfortable for my family of 4. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mani for our stay.

Vienna stay
The apartment was in a great location, walking distance from the Belvedere. Its on the 4th floor but there is a small elevator. The owner is very responsive. The only negative was that we were reprimanded for being noisy, raising some sort of decibel level in the building, when all we were doing was talking! That was a surprise, maybe the owner should mention this aspect in the listing.

Rude and aggressive manager or owner.
Overall, summary, the location was fine. We could take a tram into town, but for us. The walk was too long.The manager or owner was too rude and aggressive in his speaking to us. He almost flat out came out and said. We were going to trash the place. we are 4 seniors. And would never think of doing anything like that.Are dealings with him. Was not a pleasant experience.Would I stay there again? Not because the apartment wasn't okay. But he did. I believe In the description he said there were 2 bathrooms. There was really only one bathroom split into 21 had a shower tub and 2 sinks, and the other end of the apartment had the toilet. so I was looking for an apartment with 2 bathrooms because we are for Women. That to me was misrepresentation.

Lovely place close to trams and trains to the city centre
We had a wonderful time, mani was so helpful befire and during the stay. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The 10pm quiet time really is a thing in Austria so between 10pm and 7am you need to be quiet and we did get asked to be quiet as we were chatting and laughing later than 10. Please consider this if you are wanting to stay in the appartment in the evenings. We had a fab stay though and it was so easy to walk outside and get a tram to the christmas markets x

Fantastic location and spacious apartment.
This property is very comfortable and was very easy to get to, from the airport. The apartment itself is spacious, it it very clean and comfortable. The walking distance to major sites makes it an ideal property. I will definitely be renting this apartment for my next trip to Vienna.

Fabulous stay in Landstraße!
We were thrilled with the location and the many options available for dining, easy transportation, and moderate walking to famous Vienna sights. The flat was clean and convenient, and it perfectly suited our needs. We were happy that there was air conditioning, as the weather was unusually warm. Would stay here again!

Great stay
This property is as described. Don't be negatively swayed by previous reviews as the problems have all been fixed (lack of towels, clothes storage space, etc). The property is in a great location with wonderful access to transit and sights. Mani was extremely communitive and helpful. AC works great. The apartment is spacious and while there are no frills, it is very comfortable. My only complaint was trying to find extra toilet paper, which was oddly stored above the refrigerator! We found it after buying some (as well as purchasing paper towels). Not a big deal. Would rent again!

Mixed experience
The location of the apartment is very convenient to grocery, and public transportation. The apartment was very clean and the bathroom is nicely updated. However, the apartment is very sparsely furnished. We were only given one towel each for example and I missed having a table or a chest of drawers in the bedrooms. I found my stay there without much comfort. After a day of sightseeing I did not enjoy being back in the apartment. Mani, the owner was very courteous, however I was extremely put out when five days before our arrival I received an email that said our booking was canceled. When I emailed the owner he told me that he required the remainder of the deposit in cash. This was extremely inconvenient and added unnecessary stress during my vacation. I would not rent from this gentleman again because of these reasons.

a week in vienna
Mani responded very quickly to any questions we had and was very helpful. The apartment is very spacious. It is on a busy street,but the windows really help to keep the sounds down. the location is excellent, close to public transit. We got a 5 day pass for public transit which allows unlimited use anywhere within Vienna. being close to different public transport was a big bonus. There are restaurants and grocery stores close by. A microwave in the kitchen would be nice. I would recommend Mani's place for a stay in Vienna.

Great Vienna Stay
Our stay here was for a week. The property is located a quick Tram ride away from City Center Vienna. Easy walk to Belvedere and the Botanical Garden. We walked downtown a few times the Tram was just nice when we wanted to rest after a long day. We found the apartment as described and a good spot to rest and relax before our activities. Mani was very responsive and helpful.

Easy and comfortable!
My family and I (husband and 3 young children) enjoyed our stay at Mani’s apartment at Landstrasse. Mani was easy to communicate with, quickly responded and helped us with any questions we had. He met us upon arrival and explained things clearly. The apartment was clean and a nice size for our family. It was also in a great location. We easily got around on the public transportation. We walked to the university’s botanic garden and to get some food as well. Overall, we had a lovely time in Vienna. Mani was a great host! We definitely recommend!

Property is located a short tram ride from the city center and is as presented in the listing. Mani was right on time and explained everything we needed to know including restaurants such as Lucullus which were great. All in all our stay was very good. For seniors the beds are very low which seems typical in Europe. Vienna is a stunning city architecturally and easy to enjoy from this apartment.

Thanks for your review. Our furniture is matter of taste and they look exactly like the pictures that we have provided online the only furniture that we have changed is the two beds in the smaller room for a better comfort and a new couch-bed in the living room. In the master bedroom we have a closet cabinet to hang your close and in the smaller bedroom there is a glass closet where you can hang your close (again exactly as it is shown on the pictures online) We will also soon provide a drawers cabinet. Very pleasant stay
I became very ill the week before my trip but my 2 travelling companions went.Have gathered some comments from one of them as well to complete this review , Apartment was described as very clean , large and bright. Shopping center was just steps away.I was in contact with many questions for Mani and he responded almost immediately by e-mail ,My traveling companions reached him and he responded immediately when there was no hot water and a light bulb had burned.out. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working in the smaller bedroom and I don't know if they mentioned it to Mani, It should be made clear that in the advertisement, there is one bathroom and a separate toilet, not 2 bathrooms as advertised as it makes it look as if there are two separate bathrooms,It also needs to be made clearer that when referring to the short distance to the city center, it does mean Vienna per se but Landstrasse.

Great space!!
The apartment was in a great location and very close to transportation. It was clean and comfortable and the owner was so nice and responsive. All pros and no cons but I do have a few suggestions. First would be to add some mirrors to the bedrooms and second, a microwave in the kitchen. Not a big deal though and I'd definitely stay again.

We had a great time at this apartment
Communication was easy and to get to the parking it was also easy (just a tip if you do park in underground parking which is 8 euros per day do take your ticket with you as you need it to enter the parking to get your car back). The apartment is spacious! Lots of space for 3 people. Location is good too next to the tram that goes to the city centre. Everything was great. I would just suggest to have a clothes hangers for drying the clothes after washing them.

Apartment could be excellent with a bit more thought by the owners
We were pleased with the location and size of the apartment. The tram is conveniently located and a grocery store is adjacent to the building. The owner was rushed when he met us, and offered to come back later. He was helpful with suggestions. This could be a great rental if the owners put some thought into what it is like to stay there. We were a family of four on a ten day trip. We found approximately 8 hangers and absolutely no shelves to store our clothes! No bureaus in the bedrooms. I asked for more hangers and the owner provided a few more. The apartment is very sparsely decorated....no lamps on the nightstand tables in the master bedroom. The second bedroom had two cots and a small area to hang some things...nothing else. The bedding was marginal and the bath towels poor quality. I had read other comments about plastic covering the dining table and coffee table in the living room....who wants to live that way??! Perhaps they should consider a heavy duty table cloth. I would recommend that they invest a bit into making the apartment more comfortable, and they will have a great rental.

For everyone’s info we just finished repainting the whole apartment! Also we changed the two beds and mattresses in the 2nd smaller bedroom! Putting more attention in buying very comfortable mattresses! we also changed the two single couches in the living room! Extra Hangers for both bedrooms! The two burnt out lamps are changed! The plastic covers on the table is removed (which everyone could remove them for their own as well)! last but not least we also installed a chests of drawers with 4 drawers! for everyone’s info I do listen to your comments and reviews very carefully but I can do these improvements only in winter months where we have less lovely guests like you all of you!

Our stay in Landstrasse
I've stayed in many apartment rentals and like them better than hotel rooms due to their "homey" feel. The first thing you see when you walk in the door is a sign to remove your shoes and we were told not to roll in our bags so as not to scratch the floor (which already had numerous scratches.) Then we were told to be careful and not bump the walls (which also had numerous scratches.) The owner did a quick rundown of the apartment and had to leave to see his next tenants. He told us quickly where the tram stop was. The apartment was very "sterile" complete with plastic slipcovers on the living room tables. The bedrooms have a definite dormitory vibe. The bathroom had a nice shower and bathtub. The kitchen area has a washing machine and a nice gas stove and oven, but could have used a microwave oven. The building is undergoing remodeling, and both mornings construction started right outside our door at 0715. The tile saw woke us all! The workers didn't seem to care even though I stepped out into the hall in my nightgown! The apartment has definite possibilities, but right now is not a homeaway.

We understand that scratches are something that happens continuously since we have guests coming over to our apartment but unfortunately we cannot paint every week, therefore we remind our guests to be careful not making scratches with their luggage! we paint once a year in January and of course we would like to bring this to everyone’s attention that they should be careful. Nice apartment
This was a nice apartment on a street with good connections into the center of Vienna. The apartment seems to be in a residential area with grocery stores and limited restaurants close. Owner kept plastic covers on table and coffee table which was weird. If you want to use both bedrooms tell the owner before you arrive. My wife and I told him we wanted to be able to use the other bedroom and he was upset that he had to bring bedding in for that room. Seems like if you rent a two bedroom apartment both bedrooms should be set up for your use.

Thanks for your review. For everyone’s info we just finished repainting the walls and we changed the two beds and mattresses in the 2nd bedroom. We paid a lot of attention in buying a very comfortable mattresses like in the bigger first bedroom. Also we bought new couches for the living room and took off the plastic covers! We make the beds for number of people that come. So if we get two guest we make the beds for two people. If 4 comes we make all 4 beds.

The best VRBO to date
My husband, daughter, and I greatly enjoyed the Landstrasse apartment. It’s minimally decorated esthetic and large windows provide light and a sense of spaciousness. The building is bright, quiet, and clean, and the location was perfect. We were met on the sidewalk by the owner who filled us in on the “operating instructions” and made us feel at home.

Beautiful Apartment with Close Access to Public Transportation
Updated and quiet apartment in Vienna with wood floors, a large bathroom, and remodeled kitchen. The owner met us and was a big support with getting us into the apartment and then helping us purchase the public transportation package, gave us guidance on area businesses, and instructions on getting to "old" Vienna. It was super easy to hop on the light rail a half block away to get into the heart of the historic area of Vienna in 10 minutes.

Spacious, Warm and Welcoming
Spacious high-ceilinged rooms. Well furnished. Well-appointed bathroom and kitchen. The apartment is next to Rennweg station and on tram route 71, either of which gets you to central Vienna in minutes. In the Rennweg station complex, there is a Lidl, a Subway, a BurgerKing and a range of cafes. The Belvedere is virtually across the road. A gentle twenty-five minute walk gets you into central Vienna. We used the S Bahn to get to Rennweg from the airport. On the return journey, we went into Mitte station where we were able to check in our luggage with Austrian Airways in the morning, and catch the CAT much later in the day. We had a thoroughly enjoyable week sampling the Christmas markets.

Good location. Easy access to transportation.
Apartment location is very good – close to Wien Hauptbahnhof train station and also pretty close to the town center. Apartment is very spacious and clean. However, the bedding could use some updating. Bare minimum for blankets and bath towels. Be prepared to buy toilet paper and paper towels. The 5th person bed (foldable futon) was very uncomfortable. Maybe a mattress pad might be helpful. Plastic covered the tables which added to the bare furnishings. Something that made us a bit uncomfortable was paying 75% of the rent in cash at the apartment. Also, you will be asked to allow pictures to be taken of your credit card and passport. We've never had to do that before. Mani met us and showed us the essentials. He gave us helpful information. Location is ideal and many stores are within a minute or two walk.

The host, Mani, is great and very easy to deal with. Very helpful with any questions about the city you may have. The apartment is clean and spacious. As for location, I thought it was perfect. The public transportation in Vienna is amazing, so we were able to get anywhere we wanted with ease. There is a train station below the building, as well as a small supermarket, bakery, restaurant, food truck and gelato across the street. I’d definitely stay here again

Austrian Cleanliness and Accuracy
Apartment location is very good – close to Wien Hauptbahnhof train station and also pretty close to the center. There are two tram stops within 500 feet of the building. It is within 2 minutes’ walk to Belvedere Palace. Apartment is very spacious and clean, but as others have noted, has very basic furnishings. This did not bother us at all, as we need very little and most of the day we were out exploring Vienna. Mani met us and showed us all the amenities, as well as gave us great suggestion for food places and transportation. Although the apartment is right on the main street, it is very well insulated from the outside noise (you can barely here the trams). It was great to have air conditioning during some of the hot summer days. Observations/suggestions: For folks exploring Vienna - highly recommend buying a week-long public transportation ticket (no need to validate). Public transport in Vienna is fantastic (and precise) & can get you to any location in the city (thank you Mani for this great tip). Bathroom could use some hooks (there are none). Don’t be shy with paper towels in the kitchen and toilet paper rolls. :) Apartment is very echoey (because of few furnishings). Maybe putting up some canvas art on the walls will help. So big, great place
First, Mani wants you happy, so if you need something, just ask! It is so convenient to absolutely everything. Air conditioned. Very large space. Kitchen has the few basics you need. I made us breakfast every day, my husband and I both said this was the best HomeAway place we ever stayed in. And check out the freestanding noodle place kitty corner from the apartment. Outstanding crispy duck and noodles. We got it 4 times! Apartment so close to market for groceries, drug store, DM, it is easy to buy a pass for the trams/underground and get anywhere you need! Loved it! Would gladly stay here again. Wish I could rate higher than 5!

Friendly owner, shame that it's all so basic
The location next to the metro and the Belvedere Palace/Gardens is good, and is a bit of a walk to the centre of the city. The owner is friendly and helpful. The building and entrance need work and are not very pleasant. The apartment is basically furnished - echoey as soft furnishings are sparse. The kitchen in particular is basic: not many utensils, no microwave, or dishwasher. And the second bedroom is very small. The photos are accurate, just be aware that this isn't intended to be a luxurious apartment. It could be stunning but as it is, this apartment is 'okay/good'.

OK! Just very basicly furnished!
The cods for the additional 2 guests were awful sleeping arrangements! I think regular twin size beds should be a must, if you have that offer for 4 people! Also you would think, there would be more than one towel per person for 4 days! The owner was very nice! Just surprised that we had to pay the balance in cash! Did not see that on my bill! Just said 2nd payment due! Location of the apartment was great!

Thank you for your review: 1. We provide one towel for each person since some of our guest bring there own towels. But if anyone asks for more, I will provide it for sure. 2. Furnitures are matter of taste! For someone is basic and for me is designer furniture. Important is that everything is functional and new. 3. The single beds have the same matteres as our king size bed but we have to keep them single since some of our guests 3rd and 4th person like to sleep separate from each other. Even sometimes one would like to sleep in living room and the other in the 2nd bedroom. Hope to see you guys soon again and thanks again for being my guests.

Clean, extremely convenient
This Home Away experience has been our favourite. It is conveniently located close to the train and tram systems, markets and is a quick walk to the city center. Spotless Apartment with Great Location
What a wonderful location this apartment is in! The tram, subway and buses are all right by the apartment, which we used daily to travel all over this beautiful city. Restaurants, grocery store, bakeries and other shopping all there as well. The apartment was spotless, spacious and very quiet, other than street noise for in the city (which is to be expected). The clothes washer was great to have and worked well. Elevator worked well, but small. Mani and I corresponded numerous times, prior to our visit. He was quick to return messages and very helpful. On day of arrival, he was there to greet us and showed us around the apartment and how things worked. The historical city of Vienna is beautiful and even more so during Christmas, with the many Christmas Markets and streets decorated with gorgeous light displays. It’s a wonderful time to visit. I highly recommend the apartment and visiting this fine city! Mani made it easy for us and I thank him for his helping us along the way!

Excellent value, good location, helpful owner
The location was perfect and right on a tram and metro. Mani was exceptional and maintains a great property. The property was perfect. Couldn't have asked for better.

Huge apartment plus only a 20 minute walk to the center of 'Innere Stadt'
We loved our stay in Mani's apartment. The place is huge and right beside the Light Rail to the center of the city plus CAT- train to the airport. There are grocery stores nearby (beware that Sunday all is closed in Vienna). We walked everywhere(or you can take the local trams) to Stephansdom, City Hall, Hofburg Palace and of course, Belvedere Castle is just down the road. A great stay in gorgeous Vienna!

Best place to stay in Vienna
The location is great and beautiful Belvedere Palace is just around the corner. The tram takes you to the Center in 5 minutes. The apartment is very spacious and has modern décor. The rooms are all good size and high ceiling add to the appeal. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a good size tub. Everything is modern and new. Bedrooms are air-conditioned and it is priceless during hot summer nights. Split level a/c's are very efficient and absolutely quiet . If you travel during a summer it is a must. There is no a/c in the living room but with the door open the whole apartment cools down quickly. Mani is a great host. He met us at the apartment and walked us through. He also gave us good advices, showed cafes and grocery store and recommended a restaurant in the neighborhood which happened to be every good. He made us feel welcome. Lovely clean spacious flat in good position
The flat was in a lovely old building, but was very modern and comfortable inside. Very spacious and beautiful bathroom, spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was fine, but lacking a few things like tea towels and equipment such as a colander and cooking utensils. But we managed, and the position of the flat was great. Trains and trams both run from nearby, so the city centre is very close.
