Did not get the room I booked. Was not told prior. Staff was rude and unapologetic. Was lied to about speaking to a manager. Was told he was in calls the few times I called. Then was told he never came in. Pull out couch was a twin on floor that when you laid on it you felt every spring and the floor under. Woke up with bug bites. There were barely any outlets. I booked a hotel for 5 people and recieved a room with 1 bed and 1 pull out couch that was actually just a twin bed that rolled out. And as stated above very uncomfortable. So unprofessional and rude. We had stayed here a few years ago and enjoyed, I would never go back or recommend.

SO clean and well kept! One of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed in. Comfortable. Great amenities. Free breakfast. Safe. Wonderful staff.

The hotel was so clean and the staff was super helpful when we checked in late at night. The hotel room was big enough for our family of 5 and so clean! The breakfast was easy to grab and go and had options for all of us! Would stay there again anytime!!

I wanted to express my displeasure with my current stay. My wife and I arrived March 12th and when we arrived to our room our toilet was not working. I immediately notified the front desk and his solution was for him to try to find a plunger and I had to go get it and fix the toilet myself. The plunger he gave me was garbage ( your maintenance guy said he was throwing it out) .The next morning it was fixed. During the night my wife and I had to use the washroom on the main floor several times which meant getting dressed each time to go to the washroom. Apparently there were no other rooms available. When we arrived back at our room the next day there were no clean towels and the bed was not made. I later was told the rooms are not cleaned every day. News to me.

I’m so pissed off with management. I stayed at this hotel for one reason THE POOL! It was closed both days with no answer on when it would be available! It’s the Weekend why would you turn off or do maintenance on your busiest day! I want my refund. I had to hear my kids wine both day because pool wasn’t available. We bought shorts toys for the pool and to come and not have it available is unacceptable.

I appreciated Marie’s level of friendliness and professionalism. She made great recommendations, provided a breakdown to the hotel amenities. Nice quiet stay with plenty of parking.

Really liked the separate entry area with tiny kitchenette, however, the refrigerator really did not work. Had only 3 items placed within it & they were not chilled overnight. My husband called the desk upon arrival & followed the lady's instructions to confirm it was adjusted correctly, yet it never turned on to run. As we had small bottle of milk, we placed it in the ice bucket to keep it chilled for use.

Marie was so hospitable and welcoming! She was warm and patient, a wealth of information, and most of all, an asset as the first face associated with Springhill Suites Waco Woodway. We would most certainly return to this location again.

With a background in tourism, I'm probably a bit more attentive to things. I kinda felt let down from the get go. I was hoping for more. Parking lot lighting burned out from the start of arrival. Desk atendant took a while to come to desk at 9 P.M. He did not seem friendly (No hello/how was your drive pleasantries etc.) There was a dirty sock on floor (still there at checkout). Upstairs had a horrible food smell in air. Maybe foreign cooking because it was gone in the morning. These things happen of course. Breakfast was ok. The food attendant was A . She was very nice. Make her the GM. I did notice quite a bit of dust on railings and fixtures when viewing from 2nd floor. This could eaily be prevented with scheduled cleaning. The fishtank was atrocious with algae. Ladies at desk said it gets cleaned every week (you would never know). Room was very quiet. Beds were good. Couch in side room is a joke. Cushion feels 20" thick and like you are on a throne. No way to relax after a long drive etc. I would recommend separate shampoo in shower. No clue what is or has been put in bulk bottles. Price was a few dollars cheaper than Holiday Inn, but questionable if I would stay again to save $20. A few minor changes would make this place a home run.

Great hotel we used this as a staycation and the kids loved the pool it was a comfortable temperature to swim in. Only complaint is breakfast could be better. No waffle options and no kids cereal was very much for adults.

The property was really kept. The staff was welcoming and nice. The room was excellent. The only thing that happened that was weird during our stay is the fire alarm went off three different times in the middle of the night and there was no fire. It scared my children. Other than that, I would stay here again because the hotel and the staff were really nice
