From Walden, Boulder is 75 miles (121 kilometers) to the southeast, while Steamboat Springs is 85 miles (137 kilometers) to the south.
Walden isn't the only place in Northwest Colorado worth experiencing; visitors with plenty of time should also set out to see the charms of the nearby scenery, communities and cultural attractions. Clark, 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the east, and Steamboat Springs, 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the northeast of Walden are good spots to check out if you have the time.

It is about 35 miles (56 kilometers) from Walden and offers a wide range of points of interest, such as Steamboat Ski Resort, Tread of Pioneers Museum and Howelsen Ski Area. And don't return to Walden until you've spent a little time at Steamboat Springs' Christie Peak Express, Steamboat Gondola and Steamboat Springs Alpine Slide.
Get outside and get amongst it in Northwest Colorado. Try your hand at quad biking or give ice skating a go. Shore fishing and camping are just some of the great other activities in the Northwest Colorado area.
