“The property was in a lovely quiet position but did feel the shop should have been open whilst people were on site because of its location. When we arrived the sofa still had some sand on, there are cobwebs in bedroom windows and some kitchen utensils were not too clean. We really enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed whilst there. Would recommend.”

“We were a bit nervous having read some poor reviews for Whitsand Bay Fort but this unit is privately owned and was perfect for us as a family of 4. Everything we needed was provided. If you're looking for lots of beach time, the closest beach is Treganhawke which is absolutely beautiful and there are life guards on duty however the climb is really steep so be prepared 😀”

“The accommodation is nice enough, but not amazing. It’s not the most modern or new decor. The furniture is very large for the space and all the cupboards and drawers could use a declutter. Very busy feeling inside. We visited in covid times, so there were no facilities at the site - the cafe was never open. The location didn’t suit our family. It’s too far to walk in/out of salcombe with kids, which meant we had to drive. Parking in salcombe isn’t easy to find and is ‘pay and display’ so we were...

“Delightful chalet in a lovely position overlooking Plymouth Sound. Peaceful, relaxed atmosphere, with the opportunity for coastal walks as well as to the beach and surrounding areas. Lovely cafe on the estate and close enough to local shops for provisions. Two lovely pubs in the local village, 5 minute drive away or within walking distance. A very comfortable and well equipped chalet. We would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing break. We would definitely visit again.”
