Great staff. Convenient location right next to the train station. Breakfast is included (we left really early so we didn’t partake, but it seemed like it would have been great).

An older hotel and restaurant that has been very nicely renovated. Family operated and very accommodating to guests. Room a bit on the small side but brightly painted and functional. Breakfast was good and satisfying.The restaurant also offers a single set menu at dinner which we went to. We were quite disappointed in the main course which was steak. The meat was chewy, dry and poorly prepared. No sizzle, and no seasoning. Not what are used to in Canada when we order a steak.

Good location and nice breakfast
Good location near the train to Brugge and the other parts of Belgium if you need a base. We had a pleasant stay and breakfast was good!

Hotel was clean, in very good decorative order, good location to town, although Blankenberge apparently closes for the month of June ?!? and was dead. Didn’t replace soap or shampoo and didn’t give clean towels over a 3 night stay. Asked us for full payment up front as it was their ‘normal policy’, yet other guests were not required to do so.

Perfect Location, Great Staff, Clean Rooms
We completely enjoyed our stay at Sabot d'Or. We found the staff very helpful and friendly, the room clean and quiet to outside noises, although we could hear a fair amount of noise from other rooms in the hotel. The breakfast was excellent (especially for us Americans who LOVE European breakfasts!). The room was bit on the small side, but that was not a very big issue. The hotel is well located to walking around the town.

The managers were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was a little hard to find because of construction but of course that's not their fault. It would be nice to have a coffeemaker in the room but for the price we paid, it's not really expected. Breakfast very basic but adequate.

Hotel Sabot d'Or Blankenberge
4 night stay which we really enjoyed.Fantastic Family run hotel where owners and all staff were very friendly.Breakfast was basic continental and set evening meals were excellent.Good bar and lounge area with evening entertainment.Only 10mins drive from the ferry port of Zeebrugge. Hotel is walking distance from town centre & railway station only one stop away from the beautiful city of Bruges.Would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel

Friendly Hotel
We stayed for two nights as a base for a week-end trip to Belgium. The hotel was conveniently positioned for all transport - ideal for a train into Bruge - or tram along the coastline. It was a short walk to the beach and town but far enough away to be quiet! Hotel staff were very welcoming and provided a lock up garage at a low cost for the two days, only 2 euros more than the public car park across the road.

Leider hat unser Zimmer nach Rauch gerochen. Die Dame an der Rezeption war beim Check-In super nett. Das Zimmer war sehr altmodisch aber bis auf einige Flecken an den Gardinen und wenige Haare sauber. Für eine Nacht absolut okay!

Ruime kamer met moderne badkamer, fijn bed. Heerlijk ontbeit met echt vers fruit en zelfgemaakte kipkerrie salade. Ook leuk dat thee/koffie in een kannetje wordt geserveerd.

Super vriendelijk personeel en ontbijt was heerlijk en keuze uit verschillende producten. Pistolets ,brood , rozijnen brood, koffie koeken cake hesp kaas donuts enz enz.. we komen zeker terug.

De dienst was UITSTEKEND, maar de kamers 31 en 30 waar wij in gelogeerd waren zouden bij warm weer toch best airco kunnen gebruiken. In de kamer langs de straatkant kan men zelfs 's nachts het raam niet openzetten om te verfrissen want gans de nacht door is er veel geluid van het verkeer. Ook de autobox die wij huurden was misschien wel ruim genoeg maar het was moeilijk om er recht in te rijden wegens de te korte inrijafstand. Het is twee keer gelukt, maar de derde keer heb ik een schram gemaakt in mijn gloednieuwe Ewagen.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, 10 min in die Stadt ,15.min zum Strand. Es ist wichtig Parkplatz im Hotel vorab zu reservieren. Da ums Hotel die Parkplätze recht teuer sind. Sehr gute Möglichkeit per Bahn pder Strassenbahn in andere Ortschaften zu kommen.Sehr nettes Personal,sehr schöne Zimmer.

Het personeel was super vriendelijk en hielpen ons goed op weg. De kamer was ruim genoeg voor ons twee. Het hotel was dicht bij de winkelstraat en het station dus praktisch gezien had het hotel een heel handig ligging. Top hotel.
