The hotel definitely does not live up to the pictures on the web. In a three day stay, we had no air conditioning, was promised a room with a bath we didn't get, you couldn't open the windows properly which is a fire hazard, and one window had no mosquito net. All not usually a problem (apart from the fire hazard) if the owner hadn't have had the heating on in the spa, creating an oven in the rest of the hotel on nights when it averaged 25 deg C outside. He had clearly tried to address previous comments on here about missing bedside tables, but the footstools he had put in were so low and angled they were more of a hinderance. With just a small attention to the details this could be a much nicer place to stay, but it is so unloved and the owner so surly, that it just would be never some where to go back to. Please note the spa is not free, parking isn't free.

I stayed 11 days in Kortrijk and decided to stay the last 4 night with my wife in more nice hotel with option of spa. Was a little disappointed. Our room need attention and no information about spa in English and no one seems to mind showing us arround or tell us about possibilities in Spa. I will find some other hotel for next time. I would love to have being noticed as it should be in 4 star hotel and enjoy what they have to offer. Did not went to spa so I can not say if it is ok or not. Breakfast not for me since I try to avoid bread.

The place is so hidden that it is difficult to walk to from the train because the taxi drivers will not take you there. The place is run down, and the staff is indifferent. The room was dirty. You basically open the door and you run into the bed. It is a horrible place. The food was basic and expensive at the restaurant. They branded the resort as a retreat, but it is more like a nightmare. I will not be back, and I will go out of my way to tell people not to stay there. Horrible!!!

Quality hotel - Good choice
The room was wonderful. Full and diverse breakfast. No time for the spa unfortunately! The restaurant is good but expansive for what is the plate. Would definately go back if I have meetings in this area.

Promised so much. Delivered so little.
I wrote a review explaining just how bad our experience was, but it was over 1500 words to really sum up all the bad points. Briefly: Lousy location down a badly maintained road next to the railway tracks. Looks like a derelict industrial site. Poorly maintained exterior - peeling paint, weeds, unloved plants. Disinterested staff. Rip off breakfast (€19 each!). Charge to use pool / spa (€34 each!) Impractical, uncomfortable furniture in room. NO AIR CON No atmosphere, no comfort. Probably great for masochists, ascetics, special forces stag nights looking for something to keep up their training.

A hidden Gen in Kortijk
I stayed at Wu Wei by accident, one of the few hotels that had two rooms free at short notice. A very relaxing atmosphere with an unexpectedly nice sauna / spa and amazing pool area! I stay in Kortrijk a few times a year and will definitely be staying here from now on.

Service was great, friendly, polite and efficient. Rooms were enormous and very clean. Hotel is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre but only 5 minutes from the station. A great place to explore surrounding area of Belgium with most towns like Ypres only 15/25 minutes away by car on the freeways and very easy to get to. Decor and layout of the hotel is different from most hotels but a great place to stay. Also you can use (for a price) the health spa on site. Dinner at the restaurant is first rate but breakfast is very expensive for what's on offer.

Nice moder hotel spa
This is my second stay at Wu Wei since they opened few years ago. Minimalist, spacious and comfortable room, but a bit noisy. I could hear people walking in the hallway. Excellent wifi connection in the room. The access to the spa after traveling all day was awesome. They also improved the hammam (steam bath), but still need a bit more sanitization. All the rest of the spa is very nice. Love the roof top hot tub and sauna. I didn't had the breakfast included and ended out costing 19euro which I found a bit excessive for breakfast. Though I totally recommend having dinner there.

The restaurant didn't have that much choice, specially the breakfast was very simple and everyday the same. The rooms where specious but to hot and in my room the water was allover the bathroom when I took a shower. Don't know if this hotel is an option in the future.

Hôtel qui ne mérite pas 4 étoiles, des toiles d’araignées. Un petit déjeuner extrêmement chère alors que ce n’est pas un buffet. De la poussière sur le ventilateur. Pas d’air conditionné, pas de chauffage. Le train qui passe juste à côté donc impossible de dormir si vous avez le sommeil léger

Het is een mooi concept. De kamers zijn zeer mooi maar hier en daar moeten er mss toch wat kleine opfrissingswerken gebeuren. (vb onderste rand in douche was los). Het wellness gedeelte is heel mooi ingericht met alles erop en eraan. Het eten ook zeer lekker.

Kamer werd 1x gekuist na 6 dagen en was niet proper bij aankomst. Kamer was dringend aan opfrisbeurt toe, vuile muren; versleten meubilair; versleten en gebarsten douchevloer ..... kortom dit was een uitgeleefde kamer. Producten die op waren werden niet direct aangevuld zoals papieren doekjes, wc papier ... Soms kregen we bij de douche een mat, soms niks en dan weer 2 stuks ....? Dit was zeker niet meer dan 2 sterren waard, zeker geen 4.
