Spent 1 night here on a 6 person hiking trip and we loved it! The views were incredible; there is a perfect balcony to sit and enjoy. The host was very responsive - my friends and I drove 30 hours from Michigan and got in earlier than expected. I asked the host if we could potentially check in early and she messaged back right away and did what she could to accommodate a slightly earlier check in time! I was very impressed with the cleanliness and overall homey feel of the cabin. Would definitely recommend and would come again!

Perfect cabin for visiting Glacier
Our family loved this cabin! The two levels allowed our adult children to have the bottom floor and my husband and I the top. The deck was my favorite!!! Only downside is one full bath. It would be a great addition to have another bath downstairs.

Beautiful house minutes from Glacier Park’s west entrance. So convenient but peaceful and roomy. We did not get to use the deck due to weather but it looked amazing

Perfect for Wedding Guests
We rented 3 chalets together for our families to stay in for my wedding. The chalet was perfect for getting ready at before getting married in Glacier National Park which was only a 5 minute drive away. Great location! Also nice kitchens and grills for cooking large family meals. Will stay again for an anniversary in the future!

Perfect Getaway
Our stay in West Glacier was perfect. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the views were gorgeous. The location was ideal and very close to the park entrance. If you would like some good ice cream, you will find some right across Highway 2 at Swan Mountain Outfitters! Everything was what we were hoping for!

Wonderful Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Going to the Sun Chalet. The house was clean and updated. We had a fabulous view from the balcony and were very close to the West Glacier entrance. I would highly recommend this property!

Perfect home base
We loved our 4 night stay. It was the perfect place to come home to each night after full days of hiking in Glacier. The proximity to the West entrance is hard to beat! Loved how the parking and entrance to the chalet was designed - so easy to load/unload our stuff each day or roll suitcases without having to climb a bunch of stairs. While not guaranteed there was plenty of bear spray in the cabin which easily saved us almost $100. This chalet has a particularly great kitchen for those who enjoy cooking. Overall an excellent property - clean and exactly as advertised. Clear and concise communication with the owner. Highly recommend!

This property is in a great location only 2 miles from the park.
We enjoyed our stay here. Nice place. with a balcony and walk out basement. It is well maintained and has a well stocked kitchen. Enough plates, silverware and cooking supplies for a big group. Nice grill and picnic table on the balcony. The kitchen with a large table is upstairs as well as a bedroom and the bathroom. The lower level has two bedrooms, washer dryer and a family room area. Worked out well for us as we were traveling with our adult childern.

Beautiful property!
This chalet was absolutely perfect for our stay. I'm rather particular when it comes to staying away from home, and this chalet was very clean and had everything we needed and more for our stay. The deck is perfect for your morning coffee and enjoying the sunrise over the mountains. The location was close to the entrance of the park, and it was nice to only have to drive a couple minutes after leaving the park to get settled after a long day of hiking. We've stayed in a variety of rentals during our stays to several national parks, and Lindsey is by far the most cordial and accessible. She promptly returns messages. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you, Lindsey!

Perfect Location

We had a problem figuring the lock, but called Lindsey and it was solved quickly with her help. The hose was clean and roomy. It would’ve nice to have another bathroom downstairs. It was quiet and comfortable.

GREAT LOCATION NEAR WEST GLACIER
Property was brand new having opened I believe Memorial day of this year. 3 bedroom one bathroom chalet. Plenty of towels, coffee maker, washer -dryer, 2 tv's etc. Barbecue grill with appropriate equipment. Price about $275-$300 per night. Everything fine and location great 1 1/2 miles from Glacier entrance. The big caveat I have to the 5 stars is the 1 bathroom. My wife and I were fine sharing it of course but had to share with a friend which was a little uncomfortable for all of us. There's water hookups in the basement where at least another toilet could've or could be installed. Would recommend that to the owner. We left one bedroom empty. Had both bedrooms been utilized by adults think of having to come up stairs by both of them for middle of the night bathroom runs. Or just sharing in general. But if the one bathroom doesn't bother you then by all means rent the place. It really is a good unit and a good deal. Standard hotel rooms are going for $250 or so today and what do you get? Would stay again but as we did previously would have to adjust to what for us was an inconvenience. Another plus is you are right across the street from Glacier Guides a highly rated rafting and guiding service.
