We loved the Lazy Acres cabin. It was just me and my daughter on an epic road trip through Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Mike’s cabin is about 7 miles from the western entrance of the park. We had no issues at all with traffic congestion getting Into the park from this location. It was nice to be in a quiet, secluded location after running around like mad for 4 days in the park. The cabin is super comfortable and very well stocked for cooking. Spices, olive oil, flour, sugar, coffee filters, paper goods, foil, etc. and a washer/dryer. It has a nice front deck with a grill and a big dining table inside for families. We streamed Hulu and Amazon on the tv. Good WiFi for those of us who need to keep up with work. Lots of restaurant options in town, including huckleberry ice cream, which my daughter loved. Two pretty good grocery stores in town. Note that liquor other than wine or beer must be purchased at a liquor store - just a note for those of you who might care. One other note is that there are great bison viewing sites in between this western entrance of the park and the Madison intersection in the park, which can lead to “bison jams” at busy times of day. Plan on spending 10 to 12 hours per day in the park if you want to see everything. No lying around in bed drinking coffee - just go! It will be the best time and most wonderful experience you and your loved ones have ever had. We broke the park down into three parts and just focused on each part per day and it worked out really well. Mike’s cabin is a good midway point for all you will want to see. Have fun!
