Great Spot for visiting Yellowstone
Very clean, cute cabin. Great for two people. Nice location of visiting Yellowstone. Would be possibly noisy if staying on the weekends, as there is a rodeo area very close by.

A lovely cabin!
My cousin and I stayed here while visiting Yellowstone, and we absolutely loved it! Our host was so nice and welcoming. The cabin was comfortable, charming and had all the amenities we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

It was perfect. It did not disappoint. It was just like the pictures and more. The hosts were great. The cabin was quaint and beautifully decorated. Everything was in working order. I would highly recommend this charming cabin.

Very Private Setting!
We absolutely loved our stay here. It was very secluded and away from the busy town of West Yellowstone. Upon arrival, Caleb greeted us and made sure we didn't need anything. The cabin is gorgeous! The stairs to the loft are steep, as mentioned in the description, but it did not hinder our stay. We attended the rodeo on our last night and it was fun! The rodeo also occurred on Friday night, but it was quiet in the cabin and we could not hear it. The property is beautiful and easy to access. We were able to cook breakfast with the portable appliances provided. The drive to West Yellowstone was short, and we also got to see plenty of neat places on our way. If we ever get the chance to return out west, we will try and stay here again!

Perfect getaway
My husband and I stayed here the first three nights of our honeymoon, and it was perfect! The communication was great; Caleb met us upon our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a long day of travel and arrived to a cozy place to rest for a bit. Some of the best night’s sleeps were in this house! Close to West Yellowstone which was convenient for our plans and offered options for food and drinks. We attended the Wild West Yellowstone rodeo on the property too, and it was a blast. We hope to return some day and spend more time here!

Super cute, quiet cabin.
Very cute cabin for a couple to enjoy some quiet time in. I wouldn't recommend having over 2 people here, as it is pretty tight. Rodeo was very fun along with a fun trail ride on the property. Close to yellowstone but even closer to harder, longer hikes in Montana if you're into that kind of thing.

Adorable Cabin in the woods!
My husband and I stayed in this cozy cabin for about a week. It has everything you need for your stay. It was wonderful getting to relax after a long day in Yellowstone and then to kick back and enjoy the evening in this place. The location is absolutely perfect. Close to the entrance of the park, restaurants, shopping and local attractions. The owners were absolutely amazing to work with. They kept us updated the whole time of what was happening after the flooding in Yellowstone. Its definitely a little piece of heaven!

Wonderful Montana cabin
Wonderful cabin in the woods with lots of charm and beautiful surroundings. Caleb and Tarah have a great spot to enjoy the woods and cabin. Trail around the property to take long walks and enjoy the views of their pond and the mountains in the distance. The horses and cattle at the rodeo were nearby for viewing and petting (if they were interested), We enjoyed having something just outside of the town for relaxing and away from the main hub of West Yellowstone shops. Cabin was a treat from our normal suburban living. Looking forward to seeing their larger cabin finished so we can bring family or friends for a visit.

Easy access to Yellowstone
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Caleb and Tarah were very responsive to us, greeted us as we pulled in and gave us all the privacy we needed. We definitely appreciated the bear spray. The cabin was a cozy place to come back to after hiking in the park and being out in the cold, as it snowed during our stay. The description of the cabin is very accurate so we were organized with food that we could easily prepare. The stairs were easy for us to navigate. The drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone was very simple and we were able to make it with a little traffic and minimal wait time. Thank you Caleb and Tarah for your hospitality!

Cute little place!
We really enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was perfect for our honeymoon stay and accessing yellowstone park! We would just suggest maybe bringing your own outdoor kitchen like a camp chef if you plan on cooking much besides on their BBQ. We brought ours and made all our own breakfasts as all the breakfast restaurants were already closed for the off-season. Really great place!

Anniversary getaway
Great rental property! Just as pictured. I DID not really look prior to see there was no oven or stove. It worked out fine, we grilled and made do, just didn't check that before we arrived. Definitely not for anyone who has issues with stairs, they are steep to the bedroom loft. There are no dressers so all bags would be left in the main room under the staircase as you would not want to haul them upstairs, nor is there any room to bring them near the bed. Good location, clean and well kept.

Great Cabin, Awesome Owners
My family and I stayed in this great little cabin back in August. It was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed the national park each day and returned to our cabin in the afternoon to relax and enjoy some family time. Our kids (7 and 10) enjoyed the fishing pond, watching the horses, and just walking around the property. The town of West Yellowstone offers plenty of dining options and shops to wander through. The cabin itself is cozy, but very well planned out. If traveling with kids, the loft allows a little bit of separation, and the bathroom is very spacious and nicely done. The owners of this property are awesome. We happened to pull into the property as they were driving in (their home is next door) and they stopped for just a minute to introduce themselves. They respect your space during your stay and respond quickly to a text in the event that you need anything. If we ever make it back to this area, we would be excited to book this cabin again.

Cute, cozy, perfect!
My husband and I stayed in this cute cabin for my birthday weekend. I LOVED the loft bed, and the sizing and accommodations on the cabin space and amenities were perfect for the 2 of us! Clean, well kept, the decor was cabin themed and made the entire experience so authentic! I love that the owners added their own family bio in the check In/check out log book (loved seeing them and reading a little bit about their cute family). The food and to do lists were super handy! The private pond was HEAVEN for my husband and I loved being around the horse’s for my morning jog. This place is a little slice of paradise, and as a professional artist, I couldn’t resist leaving a sketch of the cabin in the guest log book. I could go on and on about all the things we loved about the cabin and our stay, it was truly a perfect little get away for 2!

This is a well thought out and well kept place. The fit and finish is beautiful. Not really for a family as it's a bit small but ideal for a couple, in fact perfect for a couple. If you are staying in West Yellowstone can't recommend this place enough!

Cozy cabin!
We loved our stay here! Everything we needed was provided and we really felt at home. The property is beautiful and we loved seeing the horses roaming around. We enjoyed grilling out and having a fire one night. It was so nice to be just minutes from town and the entrance to Yellowstone yet far enough that we could escape the crowds and enjoy the quiet. We hope to make it back here someday!

Nice stay, but tight quarters
We had a nice stay at this cabin, but it was very close quarters! If the pull-out couch is pulled out, it is nearly impossible to get to the bathroom, which I would say is my biggest complaint. But it was very clean and relatively close to West Yellowstone. Owners were quick to respond.

Thank you for your review as we always appreciate our previous guest’s input. There are a couple of clarifications that need to be pointed out for future guests, however. We provide the square footage of the cabin along with pictures of the cabin to show our inquiring guests what they will be booking. We have had numerous families with 2 children stay in the cabin who have absolutely loved it and not had an issue at all with the space around the bed as it is about a foot of space around the end of the bed to get to the bathroom. We also state in our listing that we are 7 miles outside the town of West Yellowstone and have also had numerous guests comment on how accessible we are to town while still giving them the peace of being out of town and away from the hustle and bustle. I would recommend that when you book your next VRBO experience, you read over the details more closely of the place you are inquiring to book to ensure you have the experience you are looking for.

Amazing West Yellowstone Location
This cabin is everything you can ask for. Just on the outside of West Yellowstone, you don’t have to deal with the busy tourist central area. The horses on property and next door rodeo make this property an absolute dreamy western experience. The Oldroyd’s paid attention to all of the details In this cabin. We’ll be recommending this to anyone we know traveling to Yellowstone.

Beautiful small cabin getaway
Our stay was wonderful. Everything was perfectly clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the rodeo on the property, as well. Amazing bathroom and every aspect of the space was well designed. The only thing I would mention to prospective renters, is that the staircase/ladder to the loft is a bit steep, so if you have trouble navigating the steps in the dark, the loft might be better for the younger people in your group and older adults might be more comfortable on the pullout couch downstairs (which has a nice mattress topper on it.) The cabin is adorable and very conveniently located for visits to Yellowstone Park. We attended an on-site rodeo, grilled out at the cabin one night, and enjoyed authentic BBQ in town one night. The owners are very personable and helpful. We had s very positive experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the Oldroyds cabin in May 2021. It seemed like there was so much attention to detail. From the essential oils humidifier, to the fan bedside, to the cute little booklet describing their family and the property, to the darling birthday card and chocolates that were left for my 13-year-old son‘s birthday. It was just super super inviting to know that so much thought had gone into This cabin. The WiFi worked great and we were able to watch a bit of Netflix each evening. The details did not go unnoticed. Thank you so much. We enjoyed our stay. Diamond P Ranch is across the street for a wonderful horseback riding adventure. Wild West Pizzeria was the best place we ate at in town. May was an absolutely lovely time of year to explore Yellowstone. Only suggestion I would make for improvement is that the pillows weren’t that comfortable. They reminded me of the 3$ pillows I buy from Walmart for my kids. I’m really not a pillow snob but I felt like I was wrestling with it all night. Otherwise the cabin was top notch and we would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Beautiful Cabin!!
This Cabin is absolutely wonderful. From the moment we got there we were greeted by Caleb, Tarah and their sweet daughter. The Cabin is so clean and has everything you need for your stay. I loved the bathroom shower tiles lol. We went to Yellowstone Park all week and it was an easy 10 minute drive. Nearby is the town West Yellowstone and it has enough food options and stores for anything you would need. My husband and I cannot wait to go back one day to this amazing Cabin. Alicia

Awesome getaway!
This cabin was a perfect location for our Yellowstone adventures. It is close to town but far enough outside of it to feel secluded. The inside is very homey and clean, and had all the amenities we needed! Would definitely recommend for anyone coming to the West Yellowstone area!

Incredible stay in a cozy cabin!!
My husband and I LOVED our stay here! The cabin is so beautiful and cozy and in a great area (close to Yellowstone NP, but a little ways from the business of West Yellowstone). We loved grilling dinner, toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, and sleeping in the very comfortable bed. We loved driving by all the horses and animals on our way in to the cabin. We would love to come back. I highly highly suggest staying here!!

The pictures on line do not do justice to this location. The cabin is stunning. Easy to find, check in was easy. Caleb stopped by just as we arrived to make sure we were set. West Yellowstone is fun to explore and there are trails nearby if you want a break from Yellowstone. Perfect place to stay.

Cozy Clean Cabin!
This cabin was perfect for my husband and I. It was so clean, had everything we needed, and was very close to the down town West Yellowstone area but far enough away to get the mountain feel still. It was super cozy and it truly felt like our home away from home. We loved the animals, pond, and rodeo right on the property! We would highly recommend staying at this cabin!

Amazing Location Close to Yellowstone
Our family loved our stay at the Buttermilk Country Cabin! It was the perfect location for our families week long trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. We loved coming back here each night. So close to Yellowstone but away from the busy town. Tucked quaintly into the forest it was so cozy and beautifully decorated. The cabin was very clean and the beds super comfy. Tara and Caleb were awesome hosts and very responsive to every need. We would totally recommend this cabin to anyone coming to Yellowstone. We’ll definitely stay here again if we ever come back. Thanks for the great stay!

The cabin was immaculate and decorated in such a warm and welcoming way. The boys loved fishing on the pond. It was also conveniently located near all of the attractions in West Yellowstone.
