We checked in around 4:30 pm wanting to use the advertised Spa Tub and then have dinner, but all amenities were closed, including the kitchen and bar for dinner and drinks. When we got to the room, it did not have the shower/tub combo as advertised, it was dirty, and the furniture was sparse; looked more like a student dorm room than a hotel room. We quickly realized the hotel was not as advertised and decided to leave. The front desk clerk promised the manager would call, and we would receive a refund, but the manager never called, and after contacting the hotel many times and being given the run around for five months, we have never received the refund. The manager is shady and very unprofessional. We ended up staying at Protea Hotel by Marriott Mossel Bay Instead, which was amazing!
