Economical and perfect for what I needed

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: The continental breakfast was hot and filling and there were dining options very near by.
Cons: The shower was a hassle. The curtain was too short and resulted in a very wet floor. The tempering valve was difficult to adjust inconsistent.
Location: It is in the town of Oak Harbor, home of a naval air station so a lot of fast food and modern conveniences. Outside of town a lot of very picturesque
I was there on business and only needed a place to sleep and shower. The unit was perfect for that. The price was right and the staff was awesome.

wearing down but clean and comfortable

Posted Oct 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Pleasant enough of a stay but a broken toilet continued to run for 30 minutes every time it was flushed. Hotel was busy on Oyster Run weekend so little chance to move rooms. Continental breakfast was not impressive, but they rarely are. At the same price as the Best Western up the road I think that it is overpriced for the aged condition and no frills of the Coachman.

Thank you for your comments David. Although the Coachman Inn is an older property, we pride ourselves in the upkeep of the property, cleanliness of our rooms and common areas and personal friendliness of our staff. I hope that you were able to experience these things amongst your difficulties.

I want to especially thank the check-in staff. they were great. My 2 quest have trouble going up stairs and they changed rooms for us so we would have both rooms on the ground level. They had a great sense of humor and demonstrated QUALITY SERVICE!.Thanks you again.

Only about 20 minutes from the Anacortes ferry.

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Clean; helpful staff; accepted pets!
Cons: It's a bit dated and breakfast was so-so compared to other hotels that provide this service.
Location: Whidbey Island, Anacortes and Oak Harbor are nice places to explore.
Very helpful staff when we realized Expedia picked the wrong Coachman Inn. Decided to drive the extra time to get here, late at night, as the location isn't to far from the Anacortes ferry. The exterior of the property has a couple of nice features, they keep it clean and someone was always available at the front desk. They serve a breakfast in the morning; nothing fancy but fills its purpose. We would stay here again.

Weekend stay in Oak Harbor

Posted Aug 4, 2014
This hotel is very convenient to the northern part of Whidbey Island. Only 9 miles from Deception Pass, with great hiking and beautiful views. Quite a drive from the Mulkiteo Ferry, though. Staff was very nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good-had some hot options. These "suites" consist of two arm chairs and a coffee table, if that matters to you. Overall a great stay!

Nice place to be. Thanks!

Pros: The breakfast, pool and spa, friendly personal. It was quiet too!
Cons: Would like a closet!
When we got to room 104 with the No smoking sign on the door, we went in. It smelled smokey so we told the people at the desk. They got us another room which was OK.......Room 103.
