The caulking in the bathroom was moldy. Handle on the shower was almost coming off. Carpet looked and felt like it had not been cleaned in a month. And the whole hotel smelled so strongly of marijuana

Aged property but I had no problems. It may be difficult for a light sleeper. The proximity to the highway was noticeable in my room, but I had a room facing the road. Not all rooms do. Well lit parking. Never felt unsafe. Great little Chinese place next door.

The bed was metal framing that literally sounded like a bowling bowl dropped in a dumster whenever I moved: rm 130.The door at the very end of the hall where our room was did not open with key card; front desk guy said they had attempted to have it repaired multiple times without success. The toilet seat was on crooked (c'mon....easy fix). The breakfast was handled by the solo front desk staff, whom I had to ask (halfway thru the breakfadt time allotted) to make more biscuits and sausages. No cheese and dry (possibly stale) biscuits. The coffee/cocoa/capuccino machine gave you about 2/3 of a (paper) cup. So, press for more and you'll overflow. The "add milk" option was watery. The Orange/Cran/Apple Juice machine gave me more water than OJ. The Apple was OK. The room phone had such a poor connection the front desk couldn't hear me, so i had to walk up there a few times. The desk staff that attended to me (two different young men) were both friendly, apologetic and available. However, an older guy was always on the phone or busy and practicly snapped his fingers at the other staff when he saw me. Rude. This hotel is called Super8 "by Wyndham". Typically Ive found that "by Wyndham hotels have been cleaned, remodeled and/or upgraded in some nannner. My assumption when looking for a hotel was that I could expect the same. Wyndham, if you’re listening, I will be following up with a call to give you a chance to explain. Very patient guys to work there. Must be relatives.

There is a night club directly behind the hotel and it starts at 11:00pm, thump, thump, thump...bass, cars coming and going, people yelling and drunk in the parking lots. Ends about 3am. I called the police and told the front desk and there is nothing that can be done. By the time I left the hotel I was more exhausted and stressed out due to lack of sleep for two nights in a row.
