Wonderful, relaxing vacation
Wonderful time at The Strand Penthouse 4A!! The condo was very clean, Saskia showed us around and gave us several recommendations for restaurants. The pool was clean and we had it all to ourselves during our stay. The beach cove is just a few steps away where you could see beautiful sunsets and the fishing boats passing by. The restaurants were all in walking distance and very tasty. We even ventured out to Williamstead- a little distance but walkable…of the carribean islands we have been to- Curacao and The Strand was the best experience! We’ll be back soon!

Perfection Beyond Expectation
My Sweetheart and I, and two other couples ( friends from high school) were looking for a place to get together to get away from the snow and the news cycle to rest, recoup, rejuvenate and enjoy each other's company. We are kinda old, so having 3 master suites was perfect. the add looked beautiful but the reality of the place was even better. Our own private lagoon, beach, lounges and umbrellas and pool. Are you kidding me right now! And the views, my gosh: Inside felt like outside with the huge deck where sunrises were not to be missed. At night it was an easy walk to restaurants and super fun bars. And if we flet like cooking there was all we needed at the apartment. Management was responsive and the grounds were clean and well maintained. We had a fabulous time and I can hardly wait to come back!

An Oasis
This is a beautiful property with private beach and pool. The property is well maintained and very relaxing. The condo is beautiful with ocean views and exactly as pictured. Sabine is a gem and very responsive to messages. While the property is very peaceful, you are close to many excellent restaurants and the main city. We loved every mixture of it!

Ideal location in Curaçao
We stayed here as a group of 3 couples and the layout and location was ideal. Walking distance to many excellent restaurants, and a nice private beach and pool in the complex. We walked to the centre of Willemstad, as well as driving all over the island. A gated parking lot with 2 parking spots. When we return we will definitely be looking to stay here again. Breathtakingly beautiful
When we tore our eyes away from the stunning view, we admired the lovely, well appointed condo. Wonderful, central location close to great restaurants (had a wonderful dinner at Serafina and cocktails at the restaurant/bar next door). Highly recommend this gorgeous home.

A perfect place!
Our stay was wonderful. The condo was spotless and perfect for our needs. It was situated on a small private beach that had the most amazing snorkeling. We went to a different restaurant every night for 12 nights and they were all in walking distance. The night before we arrived there was a problem with the pool but they made sure we had access to the pool right next door. That was very nice and much appreciated! We’d definitely return here on our next visit to curaçao!

Fantastic condo!
We enjoyed our weeklong stay at the Strand. The penthouse condo was perfect for our family of four. The snorkeling cove was a big hit and gave my kids a chance to learn to snorkel before we set off on more adventures around the island of Curacao. The location was perfect and the condo is even better than it looks in the photos! Checkin and checkout were painless, parking was simple and gated, and you could walk or quick drive to multiple supermarkets and shops. Location central to many popular places.

Beautiful Space perfect location
We were 6 adults and this property was perfect. Had our own private beach and pool area and was the perfect location for walking to restaurants, beaches, Punda and more. We rented a car to tour the rest of the island. Highly reccomend The Strand Penthouse!

Family Get Away
The private beach is amazing. There were always chairs and huts available. We snorkeled and saw all kinds of fish. Everyone at the complex was very friendly. The condo had everything we needed for 10 days. The indoor/outdoor space was amazing. It was plenty of space for 5 adults. Having a bathroom for every bedroom was great. It took us a while to figure out how to work the appliances since they were in Dutch. We rented a car and toured the island. Communications were great with both Sabrine and Karin. This unit is an end unit with a outdoor restaurant/bar located next door. Since there was a 10 pm curfew due to COVID we didn’t experience any late night noise except for barking dogs.. There is one bedroom on that side of the condo. I would go back to The Strand. We came back rested and tan.

Stunning view, beautiful apartment
The apartment is perfect, a penthouse corner in a beautiful complex with purpose-built beach and surprisingly good snorkeling just beyond the rock walls of the beach enclosure. We appreciated the apartment's beach more after visiting Curacao's beaches and found them crowded, and the snorkeling poor, as most of the coral is dead on the popular beaches, even those you drive an hour west to in an attempt to get away. Curacao really lost the white sand beach lottery, there are very few and they are small! The apartment's deck was my favorite place to hang out, the view and sunsets are just perfect. The amenities are excellent, we cooked and had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the decor is beautiful. I would say that the apartment is in the poorer neighborhood of Willemstad despite being less than a mile from the old center, and next to the oldest, most famous hotel in town. Your drive to the apartment cutting through the backstreets from the main road down to the waterfront is of poverty (car on bricks, burned out building, roaming dogs and chickens), but security is solid for the apartment complex and we never felt unsafe (and I like seeing happy dogs and chickens wandering the streets, that's normal across the Caribbean). There's a bar a couple of blocks away that blares loud music on Saturdays and Sundays. Had that persisted all week it would have ruined our holiday, but they did not play music during the week. Despite this criticism I would absolutely stay at this apartment again. It is perfectly located, has the view and the water access that is quite phenomenal, it was incredibly comfortable, and the host/manager of the rental was fantastic!

We were originally scheduled to arrive at this property mid march right in the middle of the pandemic. Unfortunately, due to Covid19, we had to cancel flights and reschedule our stay here. Sabine and her team were amazing to work with before, during and after our original booking date. We are very grateful that Sabine was so understanding and helpful in getting us rescheduled to a later date in the year. Really looking forward to staying here in November 2020! : )

Beautiful Condo
This property is absolutely beautiful. We especially loved the view and balcony. The decor and amenities are just as in photos and we had everything we needed and more. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom with walk in showers. The kitchen is excellent with an ice maker in the fridge. The host was super responsive (best VRBO host I have encountered so far) and was there to greet us and show us around. They even had some cold drinks in the fridge for our arrival. I would absolutely stay again and hope to also check out their property in Bonaire. The property is close to several great restaurants and we often walked to the great little shops in Punda area including going to Punda Vibes when there is live music and shops are open late. The beach is very quiet and many times we had the beach and pool to ourselves. We are snorkellers so we did find we did lots of driving up to the west end of the island. The area is becoming trendy but still is a bit rough around the edges. Walking to the north of the condo at night did not seem safe but we did walk in a group along the Main Street in the evening. The condo itself is very secure with gates and a security guard. All in all loved our stay and Curacao and would highly recommend.

The property and the property manager(Sabine) were fabulous. We had three couples and everyone of had a spectacular time. We all said we would definitely consider coming back soon. It helped having absolutely perfect weather. Property is close to town but I would recommend reserving a car at least for a few days. We visited several other beaches and enjoyed all of them. This place is impeccable, me and my 3 buddies stayed for a week in February doing some sportfishing, it's the perfect location not in the heart of town which is good, and only a 10 minute walk to nice bars and restaurants, if you take a cab it is a 15 minute ride to the marinas or 10 minute ride to the center of town at the pontoon bridge.

This place is great!
The owners just decided to use The Strand as a rental house. For this purpose they redecorated the whole place. Everything is brand new and super clean. The apartment is very spacious. We stayed here with our two daughters. The owners arranged a high chair and baby crib for our youngest. The view is truly beautiful and the beach is easy to access. We were picked up from the airport by the owners, very good service. They gave us advice were to go and what to do. Everything & everybody on the island is relaxed. We had a marvellous holiday! I can highly recommend this place!
