Lake Wentworth Cabin : EV Friendly

This two bedroom cabin is located on the shore of Lake Wentworth and the quiet area is great for the kids. The spectacular lakeside setting is the perfect place for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, FISHING, and all sorts of water activities. Relax on the dock or head out on your boat to enjoy the lake. Fishing on Wentworth is a favorite pastime and the lake is known for its smallmouth bass. Bring your boat and come right up to the generous dock. Included in the rental is use of the kayak and an OPTIONAL fishing boat and paddle board are available for rent. The cottage is located on a dirt road, great for bikes or a pleasant run.

The camp has TWO bedrooms with a queen bed in the master, and a set of bunk beds for 4 twin beds in the second bedroom. Extra mattress is available for the porch if you like. There is one bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is well equipped with a small cook top stove, microwave, generously sized refrigerator, cookware, and utensils. There is also a gas grill outside for your use. There is a lovely screened porch for outdoor relaxation and outdoor screened dining.
WIFI and a TV for streaming are also available for your evening enjoyment. There is no phone, but Verizon and other cellular services have good reception. A fire pit by the lake where you can sit on a cool evening and cook S'mores is a nice way to end the evening. The lake is juat down a short path from the house where you’ll find a wonderful dock and chairs to soak in the views. The house offers EV charging at cost.

The lake itself is about five by three miles with many islands and a nature preserve, Stamp Act Island in the middle. It is known for its tranquility and the superb water quality, perfect for a peaceful vacation. Just a few minutes from downtown Wolfeboro, the house is close to shopping, fine dining and casual restaurants, golf, walking/hiking trails, museums, and all the activities provided by Lake Winnipesauke and the Lakes Region, yet away from the noise and crowds of the bigger lake.

Great cottage!
We enjoyed this cottage for a fall vacation weekend. It’s a nice two bedroom that easily fit my family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked and we took full advantage of the warm weather for some grilling. There is a pretty view of the lake from the house and a small marsh. It was a short walk down a wooded path to the private waterfront area with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and a large dock. We sat out on the dock and enjoyed the fall colors around the lake. The swimming area looked inviting but it was too cold to swim. Definitely hoping to come back this summer so the kids can enjoy the lake. Hosts were friendly and easy to work with.
