Many of Luray’s most popular attractions are near to Woodstock, so it is a great place to base yourself while you are in town. Woodstock Museum and the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds are amongst the many popular places to discover here. Two other recommended attractions that are located close by Woodstock are Shenandoah Vineyards and the Belle Grove Plantation.

Woodstock has plenty of museums and theaters within easy reach that make great places to visit. To experience Luray’s vibrant arts scene, book a show at one of the gorgeous performing arts institutes such as Wayside Theater in Winchester.

Some of Luray's best attractions are in and around the Woodstock area, including Luray Caverns, Shenandoah Caverns in New Market and Skyline Caverns in Front Royal. For history lovers, Luray’s bygone days can still be experienced at the Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historical Park in Strasburg.

In the cold season, enjoy Woodstock’s most popular ski slopes at the Bryce Ski Resort in Basye.

Finding somewhere handy to unpack your bags in Woodstock is simple. Check out the rooms and rates at the Holiday Inn Express Woodstock-Shenandoah Valley, the Hotel Strasburg, or the Super 8 Motel Mount Jackson.
