The place is completely run down. The rooms in the main building with the pool have mattresses and furniture stacked high in the windows, and the motel strip portion where we stayed looked like a nightmare. Three of the rooms had their doors ajar for the entirety of our stay, and it was snowing. The room next to ours has the window smashed out. It was clear in our room that the door lock slider had been completely ripped out at some point. There was a dirty towel on the back of our door. The toiletry bottles were clearly left by other guests as they were all different brands and none of them were shampoo. The bed frame was super loud and made sounds like banging sheet metal every time you moved an inch. This place is a nightmare. I didn’t complain to the front desk because there were signs saying we had to “complain in the first 15 minutes” or they wouldn’t do anything, and I am in town for a family funeral and didn’t have time to waste, I was already late for the wake. The photos of the rooms on the listing were not the same rooms at all, not in layout or anything. They were clearly taken from stock images online, or taken a decade ago before this place became a horror movie set.

We didn’t have any heat in our room….they had a small space heater plugged in….i didn’t feel that was safe to sleep on…..the faucet on the sink was broken so we didn’t have water to wash with.

When I walked the door behind the desk was open to the staff living quarters. The side walks were not safe because of the ice build up. there was no hot water for a shower. this was discovered in the morning when i went to take a shower. the light bulb was not working over the sink. Handicap bed was too tall for my wife to get into. Bathroom sink faucet handle no working correctly. The room was 40 degrees when got there, it took a couple of hour for it to get warm.

Our room was fine. There was a candle burning in the room when we got in. It smelled nice, but seemed strange. Went to breakfast about 7:30. It didn't seem like it was fully setup. Sign said not to take food to your room, but the tables were pushed up against the wall with the chairs in top. Also interesting sign when you check in

An OK place as a budget hotel.
This is a low budget hotel, and as such it was pretty good. The breakfast service was a little dubious, but carbohydrate rich. My concern is that the inn keeper appeared to be burned out or worn out. I don't know if she is getting the help she needs, or maybe is just trying to squeeze the last nickel out of receipts. Anyway, it shows.

Room itself was good, beds were very comfortable. Property was a little shabby. Breakfast was included but poor. Waffles and toast for hot choices. There was no butter or syrup for the waffles and no sign of staff to ask about that. Juice was Sunny D. Cereal and coffee was also offered. Breakfast was taken in the cramped check in area. There was seating and tables for 3 and at least 6 of us were having breakfast at the same time.

The 1st thing that made me highly upset was the bathroom door didn't latch closed... After walking around the room I had other people's hair on my socks...then I went to put food in the fridge...And there was BLACK MOLD!!!!

When we arrived we were told that our reservation had been cancelled several days earlier. We did not cancel it. They would be unable to furnish us a room at the original price but could have one for double the price. We declined this out of principle.

I have never stayed in a dirtier room. We killed nine flies. The last tenant’s garbage had not been removed. There was black hair in the shower (my wife and I have white hair). There were cigarette butts all over the entry where we parked. I could overlook, I suppose, the cigarette burn in the comforter. I will be contacting Wyndham about this. I will never stay at a Dsy’s Inn again.

I called the hotel twice to confirm my reservation. When we arrived, the clerk said Expedia’s card payment to them was declined. Even though My credit card was processed and I did get a confirmation number from Expedia. The clerk canceled my Expedia reservation and rebooked us to a different more expensive room!!! We ended up paying a lot more for a room we didn’t want.!!! Very UNHAPPY with the staff at Days Inn at Worthington MN! The hotel was filthy, had holes in the walls, outside door was always open so anyone can walk inside the hallway were the rooms are. The chair in our room was torn up. Paint was peeling, revealing rust underneath, above the bathroom door. The breakfast was ok at best. The vending machine was empty. The air conditioner worked well but it was very dirty! I would recommend new staff and shutting the place down for cleaning and repairs. Until then, NO ONE should stay at this hotel and the state should shut it down!!! It was the worst hotel I’ve ever been in! Management should know staff was not around when we wanted to check out- even after ringing the bell several times! I’m warning everyone about the unsafe, unsanitary conditions plus very poor staff!

The front desk was unhelpful and disrespectful. I was originally denied a room because I didn't have a credit card to put on file (she wouldnt accept my debit card). She also scolded me for booking an accessible room, stating if I'm not handicap then I shouldn't book that room (big assumption since she knows nothing about me or my family). The room had a weird smell. Everything was unplugged, we had to walk all the way into the room to find a lamp to turn on since light switch by door didn't work.

Not a great place to stay-wouldn't stay there agai
There was trash in the hallway when we arrived on Friday and it was still there on Sunday when we checked out. The doors leading from the outside into the hotel didn't lock so anyone could have entered the property. We had a chair propped up on the room door help to secure it. There were stains on the sheets and comforter, as well on on at least one towel. We were given only one small bar of soap to use for washing our hands and showering. No clock in the room, TV remote's battery cover was broken off. The pop machine was out of order and the vending machine was empty. I asked for an additional pillow and was told we already had 6, when in fact we really only had 5. Pillow cases were so wrinkled that I wasn't sure if they were clean. I also complained about the sheet stains and was made an offer to change them but was informed that the stains were permanent. Staff delivered the extra pillow and had 'clean' sheets all wrapped in a ball under their arm-don't know if they were clean or not, and maybe were just removed from a room they were cleaning. Do they not how to fold sheets? The breakfast choices were minimal-all prepackaged muffins, donuts and rice krispie bars. Only 2 choices of cereal, not sure if they were fresh because we decided not to eat there but instead went to a Burger King both Saturday and Sunday.. We won't stay there again, wish I could have left after our Friday night stay but worried I would be charged for Saturday night so we suffered through it.

They told me they could not hold a card reservation. So I had no room reserved. But I got a room and paid more for it. Now I see on my bank statement that I'm being billed by you guys also so I'm paying twice for this room. Something needs to be done about this right away or I will never do business with you again. Need to take this place off your bookings.

Property needs to be updated. The lobby is dirty and not maintained, several side doors do not close properly, breakfast area is truly lacking( there are 2 tables, no chairs at all and a very small selection of breakfast food), there was a coffee pot in the room but no coffee or sugar... At check in they tried to charge us a totally different rate from what was on our reservation from Expedia. I would not recommend this property.

When we went to check in, the site manager told us they had deleted our online registration because, "They wouldn't get paid," then tried to charge us rack rate for a room, $60 more. Service was extremely slow and we ended up staying at the Super 8 down the road.

Starting with checking in. The gal was rude not only to me but to others checking in. Even though the rooms were ready for occupancy she said “what do you not understand about 3o’clock?” And continued to sit with her arms crossed till it was 3 on the dot. We had a room for 4 people but we were only given 2 wash cloths, 3 towels 2 hand towels and a bath mat. After we used them they collected used and didn’t replace them. Floor was so dirty that your feet picked up sand and crumbs. Friend locked the bathroom door and had to yell for help because it was broken and locked her in. Thank goodness we hadn’t left without her or she could have been locked in for hours. They used so much air freshener that it gave us headaches.

This property is in serious need of renovation or at least general maintenance. Paint chipping in the rooms, trim pealing off, and shower heads crusted over with mineral deposits and rust. The breakfast was also a joke. All around would not recommend this place.

We did not spend a single night. The room was filthy, stunk like a skunk, and was in severe disrepair. When we asked for a refund so we could find a different hotel, all the lady would say was no refunds. This hotel should be banned from Expedia. Worst hotel experience in my life.

Old style motel. Office chair in room was broken. Soda vending machine I saw was broken.The important stuff: bed and shower, were ok. Did visit the pool and that was ok, but no towels. Had to bring one from the room. Breakfast was ok. No orange juice out, but staff got me some. Cheapest hotel available by a fair amount so was just adequate enough for what I needed.
