Room very small. Staff was not welcoming, maybe the first time I checked into a Japanese hotel and the staff seem not to appreciate my business. They weren’t rude, but not welcoming. Most do not speak English, so hopefully you don’t have any questions. Breakfast was good.

This hotel isn't fancy by any stretch and the rooms are pretty basic, but it is clean and well-managed and the staff is friendly. They offer a really decent western-style breakfast for about $7 and the location of the hotel is extremely convenient if you are in Yokosuka for Navy business. Overall a pretty nice option for lodging.

Average at best!
Average Hotel, WiFi is very weak because they don't have modems in every room, you have to log in to the nearest one. AC system was very dirty, I didn't use the heater. Limited parking spaces.

Yokosuka Hotel
It was pretty nice. Very clean and hotel staff was nice, but some did not speak English and could not communicate too well. Overall it was great.

Flying Solo in Yokosuka
Honestly the location of the hotel was the best feature. It was maybe .7 miles from the main gate of the Naval Base. Upon arriving the hotel staff customer service was mediocre at best. The room itself was small and the bed was uncomfortable. With that said, overall it wasn’t terrible. In fact I have stayed in places that were slightly worse. The location of the hotel was convenient. I had breakfast at the hotel and I enjoyed it.

Hotel is really dated and does not offer a restaurant. Accommodation was poor, kind of like staying at your Nans in the 1970's.

Convenient location and cheap prices
Hotel Harbour Yokosuka is located in a convenient area of Yokosuka. You will be located in a close walking distance from two major train stations, restaurants, and malls. My overall stay was enjoyable. The room was much nicer than I thought it would be for its price in Japan. (I heard most rooms are small because the country is small) The only issue I came into was room service. I had my sign facing towards, "Make up the room please" while I left for the day and came back to it saying, "Do not disturb" with a bag of towels hanging off of the doorknob. Now I don't know whether it was a guest of the hotel or room service workers who switched my sign around, but it happened three times.. Very suspicious. Otherwise the room was kept very clean. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay at in Yokosuka.

Ample room for two twin beds.
Surprisingly close to the Naval Base, this quiet hotel is more spacious than I anticipated. The street noise is non existent but the walls are paper thin, so that I got to hear another guest's snoring. It was exceptionally clean. The front desk folks are very pleasant but not great with English language skills.

Just Right...
This was my first ever trip to Japan and didn't know what to expect from a hotel. This hotel was nice...not extravagant but nice. The room was small but it was just what I needed while in Yokosuka. If you need just a small room without any special accommodations, I highly recommend the Harbour Hotel!

Good location
The hotel is small and cozy, and as such has more of a "motel" type of feeling, but that isn't a bad thing at all. This may be standard fare for Japanese hotels, but there's complimentary tea in the lobby, a reasonable breakfast offering you can buy, and a small laundry room if you need that as well. Perhaps the biggest perk to this hotel is the fact that it is a 5 minute walk from Daiei, a well sized shopping mall, as well as a convenience store, arcade, and sushi restaurant. This fact alone propelled me to rate this hotel high and highly recommend it.

Nice location, really close to the Navy Base
The hotel is located close to the Navy Base, a mall, and a few eateries. ALloyd within walking distance. The only complaint I have is the over all comfort of my stay in a non-smoking room. The air conditioner worked grea, but rather loud, and smell of cigarettes could seep into your room. Also, the beds must have been the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in in years! I only slept for 4 hours after 10 hours of walking in Yokohama.
