Disappointing
The common areas of the hotel and the room itself look really good, however the bathroom is small, outdated and it smells, it doesn’t make any sense that is hasn’t been refurbished recently. The bed is comfortable but the bed sheets are really bad, so thick and harsh! You can literally hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms and corridor and this is what I thought it was the worse about this hotel! I thought the breakfast was poor and not varied, but after staying in other hotels of the same sort in Greece, it seems to be the “normal”. But I noticed there are no lactose free options available. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.

The bed was unbelieveably hard and uncomfortable. A/C was noisy and bathroom extractor noisy. Noise from the corridor and street were also very loud. Broken electical fittings in the bathroom. Parking was indicated on list of amenities but this was just street parking. Quite misleading. The room was clean but exceptionally dated.

Absolutely fantastic place/staff.
Absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was delicious with Greek products and new food every single morning. Staff was amazing, friendly and help me a lot with printing out my boarding pass and giving me a chance to have a shower and use all facilities including swimming pool even after my check out. All receptionist (morning/evening/night) were so thoughtful and helpful. I couldn’t recommend more.

The hotel location is perfect - right in the middle of all the action. The bathroom smelled and was very small. We were on the first floor and every morning heard loud noises because people were eating breakfast and could hear the chairs moving. We also were right by the cleaning room so we heard the cleaning ladies every morning. The pool is very small compared to what it looks like online. We did not sleep for the 4 nights that we stayed there. Also we had two twin beds put together as a queen bed and there was a separation in the middle so it was uncomfortable. Parking was difficult as well.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked a tour with the concierge and had the best time touring the island and boating to Shipwreck beach and the blue caves. We loved our guide!

One of the ladies worked in the reception was terrible. Everything we asked was “I don’t know”. Her attitude was not friendly at all either. In addition, this hotel is very old. It is not 4 starts hotel for sure.

We enjoyed 2 night stay because the location is wonderful and room is pretty decent however the rooftop closed due to the weather and this place is very hard to find a parking. Front desk is very nice and helpful.

There is NO parking on the hotel!!! So please remove free parking in search criteria!!! Parking is on the street! The bathroom in comfort room is absolutely terrible small!! The superior room is normal size and the bath is OK! They changed our room because of this. The service and staff is very good, but the hotel is too old for 4 star....

Perfect for solo cpl or friends !
Very nice hotel the staff all of them were amazing!!! The lady in the reception was very kind and took time to help me with everything I needed !! She was simply AMAZING! (the one with short hair) what a beautiful person! =) And ofc the barmaid on the roof top very very good cocktails and very kind also gladly took some time to inform me of the news on Greece adorable persone! !!! You can't ask for a better spot in Zakynthos Town, Zakynthos, Greece. The staff is friendly and amazing. I booked for only two days but experienced a personal situation which required me to stay an extra day and even though they were fully booked agreed to find me a room or transferring me to a sister hotel close by. Love you guys!! God bless and be safe.:)

Staff are super nice and friendly. The only issues I had with the room was I had too many mosquitoes inside. I hate to be the one to complaint about it. The room was a little small but I guess it’s ok for the price at the time. The reception staff super friendly and nice which was a plus and the breakfast was nice.

y disappointed not four stars!!!
This is no way a four star hotel . Very disappointed the pool was empty. The gold member upgrade was not done the first night. The front desk did not answer at 415 am when the shutters from another empty room were making so much noise it was like construction. Had to get dress wake them up so they could do something! Elena at front desk is very professional but the hotel lacks a star or two by all standards! Even the comp wine couldn’t save my review ! Please do no stay here if u expect four stars breakfast was good.

Terrible experience! When u have to get up at 4am
The first night night was ok.... Elena tried her best. But the room wasn’t anything special . The second night we were upgraded to a better room. This hotel is certainly not a four star property! The people is empty can not be used in winter even though the weather is like spring ......: the sauna that can be used is ten euros extra! At 415 am we had to go down to the lobby since they didn’t answer the phone since the vacant adjacent rooms kept banging and it seemed like construction banging on our heads!!! Totally unacceptable I want my money back! As a gold member you expect more....... having stayed at two star properties on this trip that. Delivered more for less I feel taken!!! Where is management in all this....... I am so unsatisfied with this property. Not a four star hotel at all stop dreaming!

This hotel was right in the heart of the town it was soo perfect! The staff were lovely and helpful and breakfast was fantastic! The pool area was so lush but small! Me and my mum loved chilling by the pool during the day with our cocktails. The only thing i'd say is that i wish they had a full body length mirror!

The air conditioning is sooo noisy! we had a room on the street side - with the church, it was noisy into the night and early morning...Sunday was horrendous because of the church service...3hrs...before that the bell? rang to wake everyone up!! The best thing is the staff. Beyond friendly. They are willing to help in anything. They go above and beyond and that’s what makes them stand out. A great team that work together. Beautiful boutique hotel in the centre f Zakynthos
We stayed for one night as a treat for our last night in Zakynthos. This is a lovely little boutique hotel in the heart of the town with stylish and modern bedrooms. The rooftop pool area is small but great. We did not spend time at the bar beside the pool but the staff seemed nice and friendly and the decor was also lovely. The hotel is pet friendly which was amazing for us travelling with our dog. Overall a very reasonably priced, enjoyable stay! The only small negative remark is that there are no sun loungers to lie in the sun by the pool unless you want to sit on the deck chairs in the shade but this is only a minor detail. We really enjoyed our stay!

We booked online line and when we saw the room, we immediately upgraded it to a larger room (the first one was very small) The hotel has a bit of faded elegance, though it offers quite a lot for a hotel in the middle of town. Nice hotel located in the hub of Zante
Diana Hotel is a wonderful hotel located in the hub of Zante. The staff members are super helpful and friendly and are willing to go out of their way to make sure that you have a wonderful experience while in Zakynthos.

Reviews are full of crap
The best thing about this hotel is it’s location. Everything else is stuck in 1983. The decor is horrid, which isn’t a huge problem but the doors in the rooms are from the 70s and you have to slam them shut to close. This means no sleep because everyone else in the hotel needs to slam them all night long. The pool deck is nice but some trick photography going on as it’s tiny. I’m guessing there’s no where better in Zakynthos anyway, go stay in a villa by the beach there’s nothing in town anyway.

Great location. Friendly staff. But pool was and rooftop bar were closed. They don't open until later in the year (May). We had 2 twin beds which couldn't be put close enough together to allow my husband and I to sleep cuddled. The bed was hard- looked more like a boxspring than a mattress. Breakfast was just okay.

The staffs were really friendly and helpful. I was asking amost everything and they helped me a lot . They called a cab for me in the early morning and arranged a private tour for me . I had fun exploring this lovely island . And the location was right in the town center , all the shops and restaurants were walkable for me .

Staff extremely helpful. My shower leaked and shower head sprayed in many directions leaving a very wet bathroom floor but this was rectified reasonably quickly. My booking stated a view of the square but I did not have this my view was of a side street.

Perfect location for exploring Zante
My wife and I returned to Zakynthos 25 years after we spent our honeymoon there. We were treated as special guests at Diana. Very friendly staff. Nice and spacious room with a small balcony. The location of the hotel is perfect next to beautiful piazzas free from traffic and close to several good tavernas. The rooftop bar - with its pool - is a welcoming retreat for romantic sundowners. Highly recommended!

Not a great hotel... Beware not to over pay
I have been to Greece 10 times and have stayed at 1-5 star hotels so I believe i have a perspective as a semi-expert traveler. This hotel is 1 star at best. I would not pay more than $50/night. Here is why: Hotel Staff: Rude and not helpful at all. We asked some basic questions and all they wanted to tell us was go down the street and ask a travel office. For God's sake all they did was stand around all day. Couldn't they learn something about their island? The young woman working in the afternoons was extremely helpful, but the owners or managers were horrible. Rooms: Extremely outdated and the carpet was indoor outdoor. The beds were thin and hard like crackers. This is somewhat typical of Greece's hotels, but this one was exceptionally worse. Bathrooms were very small and the shower was in the corner of the bathroom with a curtain. The bar of soap was the size of a quarter so bring your own. The AC worked, but was very loud.

This hotel is in a great location but that is where it stops. The reception area is pretty nice but this is in great contrast to the landings and bedrooms. Like many Greek hotels everyone smokes anywhere and everywhere and the smell of stale smoke in the bedroom was overpowering. The maintenance is poor, the drain in the bathroom floor had obviously been 'fixed' a hundred times but still it collapsed when you stood on it and fishing the grate out to relocate it was not pleasant! The carpets were dirty and worn, the television ancient with no watchable reception. Aiconditioning worked well which was a pleasant surprise! The beds were very firm and the pillows tiny foam things. The water in the shower was alternately cold or luke warm, the shower head was on a hose but there was no bracket to support it. All such a shame because the location is good. For one night we were Ok but we were thankful we were just in transit.
