Long check in time
No service at all
I arrived at 4:30pm, and it took over an hour to check in. There were many people in line, but the front desk staff were slow and spent time chatting with each other. They had several counters exclusively for premium members, but despite the long line for regular check-in, those counters remained closed for regular guests even when they were not in use. (They sent me an email the day before my arrival suggesting I download their app for online check-in. I did, but it kept telling me my confirmation code was incorrect, so I couldn't check in online.)
When I got to my room, I found that the bathroom light was not working. I tried calling the front desk to request a room change, but after calling five or six times at different times, no one ever answered, and I was kept on hold with ads playing. I tried going down to the front desk to request a room change, but there was always a check-in line, and I couldn't get any service. I've never had such a terrible hotel experience. (I also found a small bug in the bed, but after all those previous experiences, that seemed trivial.)
