“Great hotel, good service. Didn’t have a room with a king bed like I reserved so I was out in a room wit two double beds. Otherwise it was a good stay.”

“The rooms were very clean but out dated. The bathroom was very small. The bed was very clean and comfortable. This property just needs some serious TLC. The location is phenomenal. We were in walking distance to everywhere. It was a little hard to sleep because of the loud music from cars in the parking lot. The parking lot is so small and hard to park. ”

“OH MY GOODNESS! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! SPECTACULAR! The yard and home are beautiful. I received a very warm welcome from Chemise. She served delicious breakfasts in the dining room every morning and was always available if I needed anything. Outside there are garden areas with chairs and tables. It was wonderful to sit and relax while hearing their water fountains. Amethyst Garden Inn is in a great neighborhood. Easy to walk to restaurants, shops and tourist spots. The very elegant room I stayed……

“Great location!! Loved that it was within walking distance of River Walk and City Market. We stayed in a river view balcony room and I would have preferred it had a better cleaning. Floors were sticky and with the dark color wood you can see all the dust. Also thought it was strange there was no trash bin in the bathroom. Wish there would have been a refrigerator in the room as well. The bed was comfy but could tell it was an older mattress (lumpy and low spots). Was disappointed about the size……
