“Very spacious downstairs, perfect for a big group. 2 lovely bedrooms with fantastic en suites and 2 good bedrooms with small en suites. Beautiful grounds with river and hot tub a great bonus. Altogether a lovely stay and would highly recommend.”

“Hired the main house + three cottages for a group 40th birthday party in mid Aug-22. As long as you understand that your little away from the main Lake District location, then this place is perfect. House / cottages were all kitted out with modern appliances, had a good number of ensuite bedrooms and were all spotlessly clean. I was initially a little skeptical about hiring a number of separate cottages (rather than another location with one big house) but it actually worked much better.……

“The hotel was very nice. They only problems were – like facilities for disabled people In-The spa changing rooms. I am disabled and there were no chairs in the changing rooms.. Unfortunately, there was no hot water in our Bathroom. This was reported and they tried to correct the problem but were unable to provide any hot water during our stay.. The position of the hotel was quite good, but a car was needed to go into Kendall. We absolutely loved Windermere. And we would go again, but next time……

“I have no idea how I can rate the hotel for "Eco-friendliness"? What a daft question that is. Anyway, check-in was quick and friendly. The room was quiet, stylish and clean. I felt very relaxed. I didn't eat in the restaurant and didn't have breakfast, so cannot comment on either. I would stay here again. The one negative for me was the marketing garbage I got sent ahead of my stay. An email saying "we have carefully selected some optional extras specifically for you", which then offered……
