“The hotel has beautiful views, wonderful staff (Tom and Marvin), and great food. It would be nice if hot water was available for showering. All of the water was salty as well. They didn’t have any blowdryers. Understood it is a hostel but for the higher cost of a private room, they should carry a few cheap ones at the front desk to borrow for guests of private rooms in case they need. A nice hostel I stayed at in at Lake Atitlan did this. The rooms on the rooftop get noisy if it’s windy. Minimal……

“I checked in & it looks like the hostel dormitory was being repainted so I got upgraded into room 56 at no charge! So I have a private room with a king size bed, a private bathroom & a tv that I plugged an HDMI cord into & streamed from my laptop on. Great setup, right on the beach, nice pool, water seemed clean, lots of places to sit & lounge around. Unfortunately the workers who were doing some repairs the day I arrived left a lot of metal clippings around the gate to the beach, so I won’t be……

“Treecasa is truly a work of art! Everything was carefully curated for a beautiful and unique experience. We stayed 3 nights in one of the bungalows. I couldn’t believe how spacious it was and the deck was huge. The entire place was more beautiful in person than in the photos. The food was some of the best we had in Nicaragua.
