Hotel very dated. Shower and taps poor pressure. Bath had damage and the carpet had an unknown sticky substance near the bed. Had a window facing the motorway so was very loud, but without the window open the room was too hot as no aircon. Essentially had to sleep with it being too noisy or too hot. Seems very overpriced for the state of the room. Staff were lovely though. Facilities ok, didn’t see the pool so can’t comment on that. Free parking was probably the best thing

Easy to find, main landmark in Birmingham. 5 mins walk from New St station. 16th floor and great views over New St and city. Main openable window doesn't seem to close properly so there is noise, but you get that in most cities. It doesn't have Air Con! Be aware of that, they do provide fans. Great kitchen area, nice seating, small but functional bathroom. Fruit provided for juicing along with granola and milk. Plus coffee and condiments. Well thought through for your requirements. May stay again but not in warm weather.

Lovely decor, didn’t really like the hot breakfast. Buffet was really good. Very clean and tidy. Beer not so great on the bar. Is this 5* ?
