“Stayed at the Amway for one night as we were going to a concert at the Vanandel arena. Upon check in, I asked if they had any upgrades as this was our first stay at this hotel. The clerk at the desk gave us an absolute beautiful upgrade with the view of the Grand river, a Jacuzzi bathtub in a king suite. It was beautiful. This place was very quiet and convenient to walking to the concert. Staff was very considerate and the Wolfgang Puck bar/restaurant provided a good cocktail at the end of the……

“good location close to downtown”

“A little hard to figure out where to park to check in, but after that it was good. Also, had a little difficulty getting out of the garage. Front desk said our card was good until 6, but we couldn’t get in the hotel doors with it to get to the parking garage, so we walked up the ramp, then parking was charged to our room, but the key card wouldn’t open the gate. We had to call someone and eventually got thru after giving room number and name. ”

“I dare to say that I think I like this hotel better than the JW Marriott Downtown. This hotel is in the heart of everything, its got an amazing restaurant on the main level and another roof top bar/restaurant on the 8th floor. We had a corner room, service was amazing and I loved that it was a tossimo for coffee instead of normal crappy hotel coffee. I loved that they had a glass water bottle to fill with ice an water instead of water bottles. Everything was so great. We'll be staying here every……

“I enjoyed the look of the room (exposed brick was quaint). The bed was a little soft for my liking. Only had a nightstand on one side of the bed and we weren’t able to find anyone at the front desk when we checked out (this was undoubtedly due to the fact that there was a power outage, so it did not upset me). I would stay there again. ”

“The front desk staff were great, the lobby, halls, and room were clean and comfortable, the features of the room were surprising and enjoyable. The only thing that held back a complete five stars was that this hotel has the thinnest walls I have ever experienced.”

“We stayed there the night before we flew out. The hotel has been redone. The lobby was nice and open and the bar was right when you walked in. I was surprised they had a restaurant, although we didn't use it. The rooms were nice, comfy beds and great pillows. Bathrooms were updated but shower is still a little small, but good shampoo, conditioner and body wash right on the shower wall. Would definitely stay there again.”

“We had problems with our room keys a few times and had to keep going to the desk. The front desk was kind and assisted but it was a bit annoying when you can’t access your room or pool area when you need to. ”
