Our two night stay was just fine. No complaints! The lobby was nostalgic with all the stuffed animals. Used the laundry room which was very handy. The location is within walking distance to anything needed, food and souvenir shopping. If I had to complain about anything it would be limiting customers bringing their dogs to the complimentary breakfast. Sorry , I like dogs but letting them hover over the food as they get their own bothers others a great deal as I observed others repeating same issues. What’s next? Can I bring in my pet horse!

In a 10 day stay the room was cleaned 3 times. I complained and it would be cleaned that day but nothing from then on. On my final day I complained to the morning manager and he was disrespectful and rude and said they may do a little straightening out and remove garbage but no housekeeping. Yet there was housekeeping but not to my room. I will never recommend the hotel to anyone. Especially with that manager rude and unprofessional.

The lobby is big with a fireplace and lots of taxidermy (may be a plus or a minus). The room had laminate flooring, which can be a plus with allergies, but the decor in the room made it feel cold and empty. Everything was sufficiently clean. We were hoping their breakfast included some protein, but were told that it did not include any eggs or meats. The afternoon desk clerk was friendly and gave us suggestions for dinner. We asked about the possibility of staying in our room for 1 more night and were told it was available as long as we let them know by 11am the next day. I called the desk the next morning at 7am to let them know we would be staying the 2nd night and were told that they did not have any rooms like ours available. We could check out and upgrade to a more expensive room if we wanted. We obviously were not happy that we had been given incorrect information and that management made no effort to correct the situation, so we checked out and thankfully were able to move to a different hotel in town. We would not stay here again.
