Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The tv / cable was broken, the rooms looking very dated and lacking any atmosphere. The soap dispenses in the shower were empty and the shower easily flooded. I wouldn’t return for sure.

The property is misrepresented on the Expedia web site. it has no lift, the rooms are disgustingly dirty and unhygienic. The staff are incapable of cleaning the rooms due to poor training. The Breakfast offering is very poor. The pool is a health and safety nightmare and the hotel is rat infested.

The property is very beautiful and well located but needs serious rehauling as far as the furniture and bathrooms are concerned. The staff is amazing - Mr Pratap, Ms Svetlana and others but the upkeep was very disappointing.

A lovely relaxed stay at Martins comfort, great breakfast also excellent cuisine at it's own restaurant opposite Martins corner with endless choice of dishes, the friendly staff who go the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay, rooms so welcoming with comfortable beds, with towel changes everyday .. The reception staff also are so helpful in everyway , we're coming back again next year for another holiday.

Well kept hotel in the peaceful serene area of betalbatim.the hotel staff are courteous and non obtrusive.ideal place to relax and unwind away from the city.

A lot of visitors were there regularly. Good valu.
Double bedroom with air con and ceiling fan and balcony overlooking pool. Restaurant within hotel complex is also run by same family and has music most nights. Breakfast included and 8-10am reasonable time. Choice of fruits and cereal and toast and Indian breakfast options as well as eggs cooked to order. Very helpful staff who made my stay special. Taxi set at r1500 to airport, whoever is used. Book via reception as they know local safe drivers. They check room after you check out so Allie time for this if you leave in the evening or night.

South Goa for peace and quiet.
A great location 10-15 min walk to Sunset Beach then various shacks at either direction. Nice restaurants close by. Nice cool swimming pool, TV and ISP could be a bit spotty...staff nice and helpful.

Excellent Goan Village Hotel
Can't really fault this lovely quiet hotel. The staff are very friendly and efficient and make you feel very welcome. It is very clean and the grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The swimming pool is cleaned regularly and is very welcome after a hot day in the sun. The restaurant just across the road is also excellent and the perfect place to spend the evening. Beautiful food and wonderful service. This was our second stay at this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Great comfort and location
I had a very comfortable room in the hotel. The shower was great, the bed was good and the kettle and drink-making facility very welcome . It was an extra bonus that the very kind staff on the desk could book a table for us at the amazing Martin's Corner and we could just step across to that restaurant. The buffet breakfast in the hotel was delicious too. The clay sculptures dotted around are interesting!

Acceptable and good value, will need taxis
OK hotel, good value, basic. First visit Goa so nothing to compare. Issues: relatively high taxi costs (arranged by the hotel) and poor taxi from the airport (cost INR800 & he had no change at all)(other trip R600 for just10 mins)(have to trust hotel for taxis due to remote location); some staff had difficulty with my London English; noisy neighbours (shouting and barking dog) and loud bell one morning, some very noisy guests on one night -these not hotel's fault. All staff good service. Most of guests indian. Breakfast limited but ok, mostly Indian. Ground floor room nr reception (good size, clean). No insect problems -ants in corridor, mosquitos in reception. Disco attached to hotel -far from room so not problem. 24Hr Wifi vouchers from reception limited 250MB (cheap at R25). OK for browsing but signal very variable with location. Regular power cuts for few seconds. Nothing in local area but famous restaurant next door. 15 min walk to beach (not slow); country road, palm forest, rice paddies, some houses. Wonderful wildlife bonus (birds/eagles/butterflies/buffalo/pigs/chicken). Beaches beautiful, few people. Beach road to Anri's shack. Second meal there -yellow potato fries with FRIED FLIES (shame as Kingfish was tasty). Other shack Alex's 30mins north -more tourists. Not bad but toasted sandwich tasted too much butter. Martins Corner restaurant, food just OK, but maybe because didn't have fish, atmosphere good, entertainment good, gets full after 8pm.
