The most attractive things about this hotel were its location and proximity to major attractions in Koln. Not the most attractive hotel but doable enough.

The hotel is old and not maintained in the best way. The room was very big. The instructions for parking if you are going by car were not the clearest, the parking lot is close by but when we arrived there were a lot of people in the area and it was difficult for me to find it. The location of the hotel is excellent for getting to know the entire city.

Great location, iffy customer service
The hotel had a wonderful location, though street construction made accessibility a bit more challenging. The breakfast was also quite nice. Our main complaint has to do with the condition of the bathroom when we arrived: the shower was clogged and there was no soap in the dispenser in the shower or by the sink. After our 1st night we requested that the hotel unclog the shower and refill the soap, but our request was ignored. But the price is reasonable and again: great location. All they need to do is work on customer service a bit!

Property is very centrally located and easy walking distance to the cathedral. Overall we liked our room, but unfortunately we discovered on our first night that one of the windows was broken and they were unable to fix it until the next day. But the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Very happy. Staff were helpful and friendly and very chilled. Location was perfect - very close to centre. Room was very modern and just right for an overnight stay - would have been sufficient for a king weekend as well. Many thanks to the team :)

Awful basic hotel
This is a very basic hotel. Limited reception facility. A 8 digit code to get into your room. If you lost the card with number on it you were in trouble either by not getting into the hotel or by giving someone your hotel room and door entry number. Terrible security

Comfortable hotel in great location
The room was very well appointed. Everything was in great condition and very clean. We had a couple of small issues with the room that we're dealt with very quickly. Very convenient for the old town. Good value.

Hotel is better off catering to upping travelers no older adults Short walk to cathedral and center but not for late night walking Narrow street font with construction on otherside We would not recommend this hotel No air conditioning and you need to leave a 35 euro deposit for the key to the safe in your room And no ice

Located close to many things to visit as well as hbf. Price was also good. Walls were a little thin, could hear everyone walking down the hall... woken by noise several times in the night as well as in the morning. Should have brought earplugs. Otherwise everything was fine.

Friendly staff
After a few nights of the children sharing a sofa bed, this was a welcomed change - they had their own beds and plenty of room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in easy walking distance to many attractions and shopping.

Our family of four loved this place! We rented the apartment- it’s huge with four single beds for everybody and a separate shower and toilet room in the apartment. Breakfast was lovely and the location is excellent. Great value!

If you are driving this hotel is impossible to get to due to construction blocking entry on both sides. Only way to enter is by parking in the nearby parking lot and walking to the hotel

Great Location
Good location. A short 5 minute walk to the train station. We were able to check in early to our room. Clean room with 3 twin beds. We had a partial view of the cathedral.

There was a huge and extremely loud construction site exactly in front of my room. Impossible to sleep in the morning and to have peace and quiet during the day. Those rooms facing the construction should NOT be rented. And If they insist on doing so, it should be at a large discount after warning the client; certainly not al 300 euros and without warning.

The hotel is in old town, Near to central train station and next to shopping center. The size of the room and the bathroom are very good. The hotel area was a little bit noisy at night and some days we couldn’t sleep The pillow was uncomfortable.

A building site. Stay if you don’t like sleep.
First things first, there is a huge build currently going on 2m from the front of the hotel. There is a tall crane there and work starts about 6.20am (not 8.30 like the hotel staff say). Next, in your room is absolutely no complimentary tea, coffee, water - anything! Next, when I first arrived, there was a pubic hair on my bed, clearly the sheets are not changed each day. I could not change room as the hotel was full. My colleague had an issue where the plug did not fit in his bath, do water was constantly draining away. The location is excellent and 2 minutes walk from the centre, which also means there is a lot of party noise. Generally going on until about 1.30. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and pleasant and cannot be blamed for building work.
