Had a slight issue when we checked in because the front desk staff does not hav access to the Expedia bookings, apparently only the manager, so they could not confirm my booking. "Whilst it was quiet, I was encouraged to agree to have my dinner at 5.30pm and within a couple of hours of arriving when I had only had lunch elsewhere a few hours before so the chef could leave early. The dinner (ghoulash, polenta and cabbage) was OK but I couldn't really eat so soon after a full lunch. Wine served with dinner was very good. "

"Nice pension in traditional mountain style. Our room was very nicely decorated and we had our own balcony. Our bathroom was equipped with a luxurious shower. Very warm and helpful hospitality. Ample breakfast. We also had dinner for 8 EUR per person, which was traditional Romanian and also very ample. The dining room has a nice fireplace where always a fire was burning (in October, maybe it is different in July). We felt very comfortable an will return to that place."

(no wifi/no signal) Waze does not take you to the location I payed for ~15 EUR extra for breakfast and int he morning there was noone around the so called "cantine" area. 8 km dirt road till you get there I arrived in the night it was a nightmare to find it I was expecting a little more for the price honestly and I am dissapointed about the breakfast. "The restaurant at this hotel is wonderful! We arrived late, less than an hour before the restaurant closed and we ate on site for convenience. We were so glad we did! Excellent home cooked food and desserts. The hotel is older and charming. Had a slight issue when we checked in because the front desk staff does not hav access to the Expedia bookings, apparently only the manager, so they could not confirm my booking. They did get us in a room, and just had me email all of the screenshots of our reservation to them to sort it in the morning. When we went down they had it all squared away so no issues. Just a heads up if you book close to your arrival on the evening. We would definitely stay again! "
