It’s a good price for its location. Would look in rooms to make sure all sinks have both knobs on the faucets.

Property itself is nice and offers a lot.

We were unhappy with our stay at Governor Inn and suites. 1. The rooms were damp and had mould in the cabinets. 2. No proper cleaning of cabinets and carpets. The ceilings had paint/cracks which if touched were falling on the floor. 3. No charging outlets near the bed or bed side tables. 4. Poor service by the front staff when the complimentary services had to be replaced. 5.We were not even allowed for late checkout and were told about a per hour additional fee that would be charged if we checked out later than 11.00 am. Obviously the hotel needs to know that guests would not ask for extra time to checkout unless needed as we were out of town. 6. Their review of 8.8/10 in the google reviews and in their reception lobby needs to be taken off as they are not worth that high rating. On the whole we would never again stay at Governors Inn and suites the next time we are in town.

Not the best area of town but also a lot of drugs and other activities in the area. We had issues trying to get our room keys to work. No extra toilet paper in the room and we had to ask for towels the next morning.
