Beautiful Custom Timber Frame Cabin in beautiful Spring Creek Canyon!

The Spring Creek Canyon Cabin #3 is nestled in a serene area with stunning views of Spring Creek Canyon yet conveniently located close to Rapid City and popular local attractions. The cabin is 10 minutes from downtown Rapid City, 15 minutes from Mount Rushmore, and 40 min from Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, and the northern hills attractions. There is an abundance of wildlife that roam the area to include Big Horn Sheep, Wild Turkeys, and Deer. There truly is no place like Spring Canyon in the Black Hills that offers the conveniences of town a short distance away!

Spring Creek Canyon Cabin #3 was built in 2015. The cabins are 1200 Sq Ft. and built with local Black Hills Timbers. The cabin will also have a custom stone wood burning fireplace - with the stones coming right from Spring Canyon! Each cabin will have a large deck with hot tub and grill.

The cabins are rustic with all modern conveniences! There will be nothing like it in the Black Hills! Book Today!

Our home away from home
We loved our stay in the cabin! It is exactly as pictured and described. Our highlight was seeing all the wildlife around the cabin...deer, turkeys and big horned sheep! It has the cabin feel with all the comforts of home. My kids were sad to leave. We have 3 aged 6-11 and it was a win for all. Everything we needed was in the home. It was a great location to stay and we really enjoyed unwinding in the quiet after doing all the tourist things in the area.

Beautiful Cabin
My family spent 5 days at this beautiful cabin. It was off the beaten path but not too far. It slept all 5 of us comfortably. Wildlife was everywhere including; Bighorn sheep, deer, turkey and more! The cabin was really nice! It was well set up with everything a family would need. We absolutely loved how it was decorated. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who loves nature and needs a great location to Custer/Rushmore area. We will stay again!

This cabin is adorable. It’s tastefully decorated. It’s well stocked with essentials you may forget or run out of (foil, salt&pepper, tissues, soap, etc). The owners are kind and very easy to communicate with. We didn’t have any problems, but Jess was so kind to communicate about weather and wildlife throughout our stay. The check in/out was easy peasy! I would highly recommend!!

This cabin was perfect for our family of four. The layout was great for spending time together. The bathroom setup was also great with the toilet and shower in separate rooms... and each bedroom haning a vanity and sink. The deck was perfect for watching wildlife and storms!

Cabin nestled in secluded neighborhood!
Beautiful cabin nestled in a quiet valley surrounded by wildlife! Enjoyed sitting out on the deck every morning and evening with the fire going and watching the wildlife all around. Cabin was very clean and well equipped with daily essentials. Shower was phenomenal!! Great location for a family getaway! Will most definitely book again with Jessica for our next trip out!

Home away from home
This was the best property I have ever rented! The cabin was pristinely clean, and it was also nice to not have to do extra cleanup such as stripping the beds, etc. It was well-anointed with everything we needed (we never had to worry about getting extra paper or cleaning products from the store), and we loved all the animals that roamed the yard and the neighborhood. It was just outside of downtown Rapid City, which we loved, since it was much more quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. My kids were excited to come back to the “brown house” every day, and we were all sad to leave it. I only had to reach out to Jess once for a quick question, and she was very quick to respond. Thank you again!!

The spring creek canyon property was the perfect home base for our Black Hills adventure. It's centrally located and close to everything. We throughly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and has everything we needed. The deep porch and fire pit were lovely places to relax at the end of a long day. The deer and big horned sheep in the neighborhood were a delight!

So peaceful!
This was my first time to South Dakota - it is breathtaking! We loved this house and location. The location of this property is so quite and relaxing. The deer and big horn sheep were so much fun to watch. I have stayed at many rentals for several years and this one ranks at the top. I really appreciated the kitchen set up which is fully stocked with high quality pots, pans, knives, utensils, etc. It even had all the "nice to haves' such as ziploc bags, containers, glad wrap, paper towels, soap, etc. We packed a lunch each day (which in my opinion is a requirement if you really want to explore all the sites) and that was made easier than usual because of all the supplies at this house. The house is very well maintained and is the perfect choice for a wonderful stay in the Black Hills area. I hope to stay here again if I can make a return trip.

Excellent retreat
We had a fantastic time staying at this property. There are two bedrooms with sinks in each, which was surprisingly very handy. Additionally, there is a huge shower with great water pressure and a separate toilet room. It was extremely well-equipped for a week long vacation for 4 adults and our two dogs. The hot tub, outdoor propane fire, and grill worked great and enhanced our time outside, enjoying the beautiful scenery. We saw a family of bighorn sheep on their morning walk as well as many deer and turkeys. Overall, the location was great - quiet and convenient to both the Black Hills and Rapid City. We would love to go back, and we highly recommend this cabin!

The setting was gorgeous!! Our family of 5 (3 teenagers - and dog) fit perfectly in this comfy cabin. It was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The deck area with hot tub and fire pit was our favorite place to unwind after our daytime Black Hills adventures! We enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys every day. We had no issues and were extremely happy with our stay!

Great spot for tourists
We loved our time here. Perfect spot for tourists looking to explore everything Black Hills. The loft was so fun for our boys 10 & 12. They wished a tv was up there, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for their fun. We stay in a rental every year & this was our favorite so far. Loved the hot tub, shower, bedrooms, South Dakota decor, unique doors/locks, huge wrap porch, & that the home had so much everyday items incase we forgot anything. Plus we were able to bring our pup. We never stay somewhere twice (really like to travel), but if we did-we would rent back here.

Black Hills Adventure
We had a wonderful week in the Black Hills. The cabin was situated perfectly for all of our adventures including being within 1 hour of Custer State Park, Jewel and Wind Cave, and Mt. Rushmore. The house had everything we needed for our family of 5 including 2 teenagers and our school aged daughter. We were able to cookout each night for dinner and then unwind in the hot tub. Our favorite part of staying here were the friendly animal friends including big horn sheep and deer. Our kids loved staying here so much they are hoping to return in winter.

Great cabin!!!
We loved our time here!! Nice cabin. Very comfortable and fully stocked with all you need. Perfect location too! We’d head out early, see all the sights and be back to cook dinner and relax on the deck and watch the wildlife. Definitely will recommend and be back!!
