I liked the sitting areas outside with fire pits. I guess the prices weren't too bad. The sheets and bathroom seemed clean. If they would do a little updating it would be an awesome place to stay. The Indian men at the front desk were nice and tried to work with me. I didn't like when I booked on Expedia the pet friendly rooms were more. So I assumed that's because of the pet. But when I checked in there were additional pet charges. A sign on the door saying $25 a night and a sign on the desk saying $30 a night. At least they gave me the $25 charge. The carpet in the pet friendly room was filthy! Either wasn't cleaned or they need new carpet. Walked around barefoot and my feet got black when my feet are usually a light pink color.

It was fine to stay for 1 night as a break to cut the almost 8 hr drive in half to get to our end destination. You get what you pay for. Very simple and outdated, tiny fridge - which was unfortunate as we had some items that needed cooling for our camping trip - so we had to fill the coolers with lots of ice instead as the fridge also wasn't on when we arrived. Breakfast had much to be desired and we ended up going to a local bakery instead. But the area is nice and there are plenty of things to do if you stay longer. But would maybe look elsewhere for multiple days in the area for more comfort and hotel amenities.

Everything was good except one thing and that is the lock on the door wouldn’t lock from the inside at all so I spent the two nights there with an unlocked door
