“Loved this place! Was up the road, around the Dover area in Kent, desperately looking for a place to stay for night at a reasonable price & everything I could find was very expensive or selling out, then after hours of searching, this New Hotel came up on my Internet search! I drove to it immediately, wasn't many minutes drive, to check out if it was ok & couldn't believe my eyes! No car park, on a broad street beside row of shops & Police Station right opposite which feels safe & row of parking……

“This is my second stay here after an overnight stay last June. I aim to book here whenever I can going forward as it was as good if not better which was a high bar to begin with. Parking is really convenient. It was a great room with lovely air-conditioning which was required for such a warm, April day. I had a great workout in the well-equipped gym. “We stayed here for one night over the weekend, a pretty little property around 30 minutes walk from central Canterbury. This wasn't too much of an issue as we are happy to walk but it was further than anticipated. We slept so well in the soft bed and liked our little room. When we arrived however there was a brown stain in the toilet and although we flushed it a few times, it would always come back which suggests plumping needs a look at. Says 4 rooms on website but there are 6 and they are……

“Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.”
