Very limited parking, no breakfast or food served at hote, just room only basis. Old hotel that is a bit dated and could do with a bit of refurbishment. But was clean and spacious and good helpful staff

The property was in a beautiful location, on a busy, attractive high street with lots of good shops and eating out places. The property has real potential but very much in need of restoration.

Look, this hotel is cheap so you get what you pay for, therefore i have no complaint. The hotel was obviously once very nice, but has been let go and could do with some investment ( but then the prices go up). Bedding was clean, room serviced daily so thats all i wanted. I would recommend for cheap rooms.

The hotel is right on battle high Street perfect for visiting this historic town. The room had a good size double, bed was comfy and clean as were the towels. The room could have done with hoovering. The wooden toilet seat was split at the back and needed replacing. The shower was very small and the doors were difficult to close. Shower head needed cleaning. Nothing to hold onto to get up into the shower.

This was not a good hotel, the stairs leading to the room were squeaky, the window in my room very dirty, I had to ask them for a fan as my room was very hot I couldn't open the window fully, I will never recommend anyone to stay there unless they are desperate.

Towels and bedding were clean, although the rooms lacked TLC with the shower cubicle needing a good clean and the grouting redoing and the cobwebs clearing from the curtain rail. The hotel does not have its own restaurant and does not supply any meals. Car parking is to the rear of the property and has limited spaces, definitely not enough for the entire hotel, but their is public parking 5 minutes away which is free between the hours of 6pm and 8am. The hotel does have guest WiFi. If your looking for somewhere to just sleep and use as a base then this is ok. The Italian restaurant on the ground floor is a separate business and we had enough lovely meal there

Good for Battle sight seeing. The beds are clean and there is parking. Lots of pubs and eateries nearby. Price very reasonable but property needs attention but price reflects this. Only downside no one replied to my emails 😤

There was no breakfast which was disappointing. There was a pillowcase in the middle of the floor when we arrived. There was a socket hanging off the wall next to the bed, large cobwebs on the curtain rail. Crayon all over the wall above the double bed. The wooden edge across the bathroom door to edge the carpet to the raised tiled bathroom floor had come off completely. The light Obote the mirror over the sink didn’t work. The bathroom was tiled black so the light was needed. The shower had black and orange mould all around it. The shower door seal was mouldy and hanging off. The door handle on the shower door looked like it had come off so you couldn’t open the door. There was no towel rail or hook on the back of the door so you had nowhere to hang towels to dry or clothes. There was a hand towel folded on the toilet seat. Cheap, thin toilet paper. Very poor for £125 per night price tag.

The hotel is well situated in the high street. There is parking (albeit limited). Staff on arrival was pleasant but I didn’t see anyone after that. Old building so floors ( including stairs) were uneven and there was no lift. Not a problem for me but I would imagine not everyone could get upstairs. I was in room 19, top of building. No air con but there was a fan in the room. I was on my own but the room was a bit of a tight fit if a couple were in there. Bed linen and towels very clean. Hairdryer and teamaking facilities in room. Decor was a bit scruffy and looked as though it had been done on the cheap. WiFi easy to access. There was a shower over the bath but it either ran cold or scorchingly hot so having a shower was a palaver. One of the taps on the basin was loose, although it did function.
