"We really enjoyed our stay here. The checking in and out process was smooth. The property itself was full of wonderful charm and character, with all the amenities we needed clise at hand. It really felt like we were guests in someone's home. Perfectly situated in the middle of the old town, with lots of the local attractions, including the beach, in easy walking distance. We would recommend this to family and friends and would like to return."

"Afton Hotel was a very pleasant surprise - the cleanest hotel I have been in in Eastbourne for the last three years. Staff were great - very obliging and friendly. Food was delicious - especially the “full English” breakfast. I didn’t quite understand why the Continental breakfast was the same price (‘£10) as the full English - shouldn’t it be less ? The Aftor is very good value. I will definitely stay here again when I am in this area."

"Basic caravan with no central heating only 2x oil heaters. Good shower. Direct communication required with owner, via referral from travel nest site, to arrange stay and extra fees. Caravan changed 10 hours before arrival due to boiler breakdown but original property was occupied. Only 5 beds when 6 berth had been booked. Extra charge for dogs. Extra charge for use of pool and entertainment. Frankie’s food van on seafront was excellent. "

"For a budget stay The Oyo Marine Parade was not bad at all. The room was a small double but had an en-suite and was clean & tidy. The staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. When my husband was taken into hospital and I didn’t return until 3.30am the 24 hr receptionist got up to let me in with a welcoming smile and kindness, much needed after 9 hours in A & E!
