“We stayed in the Mallard Cabin right by the lake. Only having 1 bathroom was a bit tight for my family of 5, but luckily the office was right next door and had bathrooms if needed. The view from the porch was beautiful and we loved using the complimentary kayaks. There was a musty smell in the cabin, but it is an older building, so nothing we couldn't handle. My kids loved staying on the lake, making smores in the fire pit and playing board games on the porch. Having a full kitchen was great……

Foliage was beautiful and front desk lady was fabulous!!! Extra fees were not disclosed until check in and communication prior was lacking.”

When you pull up its appearance is an old strip motel, but inside the rooms its a 5 star room. We could not find an ice machine, no outside trash cans for dog waste and the step up to the room from the parking are our only minor complaints. We would love to stay again. P.S. we left during the hurricane or we……

“They were not joking when they said 4wheel drive is recommended LOL just be prepared for a steep gravel driveway....other than a slight issue with evolve (the ones who worked on the reservation) it was an absolutely perfect trip for my pups, my son and myself. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice getaway place to relax. ”
