“Staffs are nice. Room is clean and spacious. ”

“The room was lovely but the sink in the en-suite was tiny & hard to get a wash or clean your teeth in without getting water everywhere. The front of the sink unit was already water damaged. The shower was good & easy to use. The lady who greeted us was very helpful & friendly especially as we forgot to take our key out with us & had to ask her to let us in to our room. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for her. There was a good choice for breakfast which was cooked to order”

“The property and staff were exceptional breakfast was amazing”

“Very nice room, good selection and quality of food for breakfast and lunch.”

“Staff were very friendly and helpful, great to have a chat with about the area. Accommodation was exactly what we needed and a good choice of dinner options.”

“Great location but very noisy in our front room at the weekend with revellers coming out other pubs. Staff all really helpful and can't do enough for you. Plenty choice at breakfast”

“Staff were excellent. Food was very good. Central location. Spacious room with fridge. All rooms in the hotel are up some stairs. No lift.”

“My friends and I stayed overnight during our road trip. We chose the hotel because it was along our route and had ample parking available. We were expecting a comfortable stay, good hospitality, quiet surroundings, easy parking… and that is EXACTLY what we got. Zero complaints and would happily book again if in the area.”

“We were happy enough with our room at St Ronans Hotel and we were grateful for the host's recommendation that we should go to The Traquair Arms Hotel for our evening meal.”

“Unfortunately another disappointing night at the Inn. Went for a meal, again staffing issues with chefs resulting in quite a few things not being available. I thought there was a wedding function going on as every now and then loud music would blast through the restaurant area but it was just the music coming from the kitchen area as the doors swung open and closed. Sadly in need of a makeover.”

“The public areas were a bit dark and gloomy. The bedroom was hot and stuffy even with the windows open. Some furniture was quite old fashioned but the bed was comfortable enough. The food was OK but lacked better wine choices. The breakfast was a bit too greasy. Staff were friendly and helpful.”
