“This lodge isn’t for everyone, but for those whom it is well suited to it offers a wonderfully immersive rainforest experience. Our room was spacious and fairly comfortable and we felt very much like we were alone in the jungle while hotel and other amenities were very readily accessible. My only caution is that those with mobility issues could find accessing some of the rooms very challenging due to steep walkways that must be climbed to reach some cabins. There are several on the same level……

“Aloha! We were kindly greeted by Esteban at the front desk. We booked a room with a mountain view and it did not disappoint. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was not a fridge in the room but the front desk will store them in the restaurant refrigerator if you would like. Though it was remotely located the place offered everything we needed including amazing food at the restaurant. We had breakfast daily, lunch and 2 dinner on 2 occasions. “Don’t think twice about this place !! Just book it ! This hotel is not your regular hotel. It’s very special and unique. In a nutshell this hotel is home away from home. I felt like I was on vacation with family. Really! Loved being there. They truly do everything with heart— from warm breakfast, laundry and their mission, Con Corazon is the place to be in Monteverde!! Rooms are very cozy and squeaky clean!
