“A lovely hotel, just a short walk along the side of the canal, to the town centre.
Our room was lovely, spacious and well appointed. Plenty of shelving and hanging space. A very comfortable bed, always a bonus.
The en-suite was modern with an efficient walk in shower.
The breakfast area was well laid out and comfortable. There was a good range of cereals etc. The cooked portion of the breakfast was cooked to order and was first class. The Eggs Benedict is wonderful, ham off the bone.

“We were comfortable in our room but we found it unusual that the cleaning staff weren’t cleaning rooms until very late in the day. So the first day we said just leave our room for today but we do require a few things (TP and coffee). Other than that our room was never refreshed at all. The front of the property had two lovely patio sets however staff had overlooked cleaning them, so we gave them a quick brush off so we could use them.
