"Our second stay here…we chose a large deluxe room, that was huge, with a gorgeous bathroom. I love this hotel, its quirky layout, the history, location…and now, also its chef….food was to die for, quality ingredients, beautifully cooked and presented. Drinks are on the expensive side, but there is a store across the road that sells wine. Parking can be tight, but in our 4 night stay, we were always able to snag one."

Slightly thin walls in the bathroom (could hear the neighbouring guest toileting). Pleasant staff. Exceptional food (dinner menu was excellent). Breakfast catered for in the early hours which was appreciated. Would most certainly return. "

"The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough .. we arrived 5 hours early but they managed to get us checked in early with no fuss .. provided local knowledge and a quick tour of the hotel .. attentive at every question throughout the stay nothing was too much trouble .. handy location less busy to get around to other towns and villages .. highly recommend and have already spoke to work colleagues for them to go "

"This was a night away for my wife and I. We thought the facilities and room were perfect for us. The hotel was in good repair but retained its period charm. The staff could not have been more helpful. Service in the restaurant was very attentive, and the breakfast was excellent. The quality of the food served up in the evening didn't quite live up to the high quality of the rest of our stay, but it was perfectly pleasant."

"The Ormond was ideal for our overnight stay in Tetbury.We enjoyed a drink and socialising with the locals in the bar,which had a good vibe about it.Our ground floor room was smartly furnishedand plenty big enough.The queen size double bed was very comfortable and the en-suite shower/toilet was well decorated, clean and provided plenty of powerful hot water both in the evening and morning.Our full english and vegetarian breakfast choices were well presented and ample in size.We enjoyed our stay...
