“The hotel and room were clean but upon arrival at the designated check in at 3pm the room wasn’t available due to being cleaned and we had to wait until 420pm to gain access to the room. One issue - The room was very cold upon arrival meaning air con was fully functional and cool (outside temp was 26/27degrees), we went out for the evening and upon returning the air con had been deactivated at the central panel (outside temp was still 20C) so we called reception asking for air con to be looked……

“Breakfast good choice, poached eggs overdone and staff cheerful. Paper thin walls mean you hear every small noise so not great. Lovely grounds to walk in and the nearby Rock Inn pub well worth a visit.”

“The room was not cleaned to high standard, the corners and edges in the shower room were dusty and stained. It’s a shame as the place is new and will depreciate quickly if not kept up to good standards. The room is really nice and a very comfortable bed, we slept so well. My partner loved the telly! Staff were fantastic, very helpful. Cannot fault them. Breakfast was disappointing, a lot of food but blunt and not inspiring! Car park is more expensive as compared to little hotels nearby costing……

“Its high end with great decor and fab spa facilities. Our stay was somewhat spoiled by drunken guests and their friends in the next room making excessive noise and shouting between 12.30-2.30 am, keeping us awake, security was called twice to try and resolve and did offer us a rom change in the middle of the night which was not practical. On speaking to Harry the manager it appears this was not the only case that evening. The hotel should consider introducing a quiet policy after 12 with……
