“The bar staff were great”

“My family resided in a room with air-conditioning in out of service, hotel staff arranged with electric fans to cool down the room. It seems like common situation in UK hotel during summer.”

“Extremely friendly and courteous staff, in particular the lady who checked us in and the breakfast team. The hotel is being systematically renovated and the public areas are of a high standard. Our room was clean and well maintained and whilst the bathroom was clean and functional it would have benefited from being renovated. That said, there was nothing seriously wrong with it. The price we paid represented excellent value for money. Free and secure parking in a dedicated building adjacent……

“The hotel is situated in a great location. The centre of the city is just around the corner and there is a very beautiful park just up the street. There is a heat wave in Bath and a lot of properties cannot have air conditioning. So, I booked this hotel because the listing on Expedia said it was air conditioned. When I arrived they showed me to a room that was not airconditioned. It was stiffling. I went back to reception and was told that I was in traditional wing of the hotel and those rooms……

“Motel about 5 miles north of Salisbury. Room very spacious and cool in a very hot week, on-site restaurant, lots of parking. Staff always friendly and helpful Breakfast buffet a bit disorganised and quality variable Not many amenities nearby”

“A very comfortable place to stay, really love all facilities and decoration. It's ancient but fashion one. The staffs are really nice and very helpful. I will love to stay there again. By the way, the breakfast and dinner are really delicious.”

“The hotel is an old building so we understand the facilities have been improved to update with the modern life. There is a lift but there are about 10 -11 steps up and down before I could move my luggage into the room. There are 4 steps of staircase before I could use the bathroom. I had an accident on my first night stay 21 May 2026 2:40 a.m., I sprained my right ankle. I could not manage to go to the hospital with only one leg. I was so grateful the staff on duty on 21 May, came and helped……

“Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened. We were greeted by a man in a hurry, brusquely telling us over his shoulder whilst rushing around doing……
