“Large, sprawling property with good amenities for wheelchair customers but with long corridors that may be challenging for guests who have other walking aids or breathing difficulties. Excellent breakfast with a good range of hot and cold items and some healthy options. Warm and friendly greeting from staff on arrival. Large car park that empties out overnight but VERY busy on a Sunday morning (extremely difficult to find a vacant space). Easy to pay for parking using a machine in the lobby……

“Great stay many thanks. Nice property but please keep it refurbed and up to date. Needs aircon for the summer, fans good but too hot as windows cannot be fully opened. Great service in the bar/restaurant but needs Guinness back rather than Caffreys Stout! Will miss the lamb skewers from new menu but the new sticky chicken ones are also good. That said a tad less bbq sauce would be ideal.”

“The outlook, surrounding and location is good. The hotel lobby and corridors to guest rooms are good decorated, however the interior of guest rooms are quite old fashion and seems haven't gone through any renovation of modernisation. The furnitures and TV are very old fashion. The cleaniness of carpet and armchairs are not up to hotel standard that causing you reluctant to step on the carpet and rest in the armchairs. Moreover, due to the dirty carpet in the room, I needed to request for a pair……

“clean, efficient, spacious, and most convenient. An excellent to stay a couple of nights in Sheffield town. I espcially like the spacious room and high ceiling and the lively little bas overseeing the Leopold Square.”

“Breakfast is great Did nt recommend the restaurant at night for food my main course was cold and undercooked Never even offered to replace it or offer to take of bill or even some kind of discount And it wasn’t cheap”

“Well located if you need to be near the university, and a decent price for a location with parking and breakfast included.”

“No lift to suites. (3 floors) honestly I was disappointed for the money spend. Chips off the sink in the Hellaby suite and lots of small things missing.”

“Sadly, a disappointing stay in a hotel that has the potential to be beautiful but is dated and poorly maintained. We did not receive the suite we specifically booked for its layout. The first room we were given was accessed through a pitch-black courtyard, which felt unsafe. Although the bedroom and bathroom were modern, the living area was echoey, with a flimsy falling apart table and a fold-out bed positioned in a room near the external door. This was unsuitable for our two young……
