“Like others said, the pictures really don't do it justice. Hosts were excellent, the location was amazing, and my only regret was not staying longer. Would definitely stay again!”

“I loved the property. The most unique place I have ever stayed. The cabin is nestled up against a mountain. Has a beautiful sitting area on the mountain. It’s just gorgeous. I would highly recommend.”

“Lovely owners and lovely place! We had a great time with beautiful views and adventurous hikes! The cabin was very clean, cozy, COMFORTABLE and stocked with everything you could need! Will definitely recommend and be returning! ”

“Very quiet and the bed was very comfortable.”

“It was a very nice place to stay at on our trip.”

“This is a lovely getaway in rural Walsenburg. Nicely appointed. Great living and outdoor space.”

“Unit was very clean and comfortable. It was hot while we were there and mini split worked well to kept us cool.”

“Super super cute place. It’s fun to just walk around and look at everything on the wall then get a good laugh. The house had everything we needed. It was within walking distance to the main street you can smoke weed in the house. Doesn’t get better than that! And our there dogs absolutely enjoyed it as well.”

“It was really nice inside. The steps are a little narrow and steep”

“This was the best surprise of our entire trip! Our hosts were right there with us on communication; the whole place was super clean; the furnishings were very tasteful and comfortable; the kitchen was user friendly and well stocked; we slept so well. Our host was right: don't judge a book by its cover - we walked past an average outside to a fabulous inside! When traveling with a dog our choices narrow down fast. This was one of the few pet friendly places available in the area. We are used to……

“This place was a really pleasant surprise. Great value for the money. They put a bunch of work into the welcome book --- has everything you could ever want to know about the house, local things to do, places to eat, contact information for owner and host. Bedrooms are very nice and clean. Kitchen is very well equipped with coffee ready to go. We spent our days on the lake. House is in a great location for quick access to state park, gas stations, eating places. Everything we needed.……

“Great space..nice surroundings..good deal!!”

“Great place to stay! Very roomy, clean and within walking distance of downtown, which was wonderful.”

“We had a wonderful time. Cooking was made easy with all of the spices and cookware. This is the ideal house to view the fall changing foliage.”

“Nine of us thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay! Space enough for quiet times and group times, indoors and outdoors on the large 2nd floor deck and individual decks. Windows everywhere had us feeling we shared the outdoors in privacy. Hearing birds and the Cuchara River through open windows was a joy. Every bedroom is nice; there isn’t a bedroom that isn’t great. Huge theater-quality TV if you have an event you want to watch. Loved the spacious kitchens, high tech bathrooms, and great radiant……

“We loved it!”
