“Very clean and friendly staff and delicious breakfast!!”

“We stayed at the Shelby Inn overnight Easter Sunday night, after a day of fishing at the lake spillway. The Inn looks to be a mansion in pictures, but it is also what might have been an upgraded 1950s single floor motor lodge, as well as a two story lodging building next door. Our king room was in the 2 story building, on the top floor. On the day of our arrival, we got the assigned room number and an access code for the door. The room was well appointed, spacious with a two-seater table and……

“Asked for a later checkout and was told it would be fine as long as we were out by 3 pm as 4 pm is when they would charge for another night stay. At 12:15 house keeping banged on the door demanding us to leave so I called the front desk again and he informed me he told me 2 pm was the time he stated (which he did not —he said 3 pm) I informed him if the calls are recorded he should go back and listen to our conversation as he at this point was lying about it.
