“The guesthouse was clean and comfortable. The location is great. Just a short walk from restaurants, bars and shops as well as Lake Monroe. The hosts were wonderful. Had a small hiccup with the refrigerator and Jose had it dealt with quickly. Will stay here again if in this area. Highly recommend this guesthouse.”

“The property itself is genuinely beautiful, but that is where the positives end. The listing advertised a waterfront view — the lake was completely dried out and had clearly been that way for some time. The unit had a severe odor upon arrival, consistent with mold or sewage, which was never fully resolved during my stay. Breakfast was listed as an included amenity; the host's idea of fulfilling this was leaving single-serve boxes of cereal and Pop-Tarts with no milk. When I raised this, the……

“It’s an amazing place! A historic house in an excellent location with everything you need inside. It doesn’t have a stove, but it has a microwave. Free parking, a supermarket nearby, and a beautiful park with a swan lake just a few steps away. Everything is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is modern. We want to come back.”
